Book excerpt: Le travail rapporté dans ce mémoire est relatif à la détermination de la viscosité dynamique et de la masse volumique de corps purs en fonction de la température, de la pression et de la composition pour leurs mélanges. Nous avons mené une première campagne expérimentale sur un mélange synthétique simulant sous certaines conditions la fraction C 5 + de fluides réels pétroliers. Nous avons étudié le L-Méthylnaphtalène, l'heptane et le méthylcyclohexane en fonction de la température (30, 50 et 70\c) et de la pression (jusqu'a 100 Mpa) puis les binaires et le ternaire associés en faisant varier la fraction molaire avec un pas de 12.5%. Cela correspond à 810 points expérimentaux qui nous ont permis de tester un certain nombre de modèles de la littérature, notamment ceux qui présentent un caractère purement prédictif pour les mélanges comme les lois de mélange idéales, l'autoréférence, le couplage autoréférence/loi de mélange, un modèle basé sur la théorie des sphères dures et un modèle basé sur le volume libre (récemment mis au point au laboratoire). Ces modèles fournissent une excellente restitution. Une seconde campagne concernant cinq corps purs (2,2,4,4,6,8,8-heptaméthylnonane, heptylbenzène, heptylcyclohexane, tridécane et L-méthylnaphtalène), 3 binaires, un ternaire (une composition) et un mélange à 5 constituants (une composition) simulant une coupe de distillation à 510 k, a engendré 1176 valeurs relatives à la viscosité dynamique et à la masse volumique et a permis de tester les modèles déjà indiqués. Enfin, nous avons mis au point un nouvel appareillage de mesure de la viscosité permettant l'étude de systèmes contenant des gaz dissous. L'originalité de cet appareil consiste en sa procedure de remplissage à haute pression constante. Il permet en outre de mesurer la viscosité dynamique de systèmes très fluides (jusqu'a environ 0.04 Mpa.s) de 0.1 a 140 Mpa.
