Book CONTRIBUTION A L AMELIORATION DE LA REACTIVITE DES SYSTEMES DE PRODUCTION AUTOMATISES ET FLEXIBLES GRACE A UN PILOTAGE BASE SUR UNE GENERATION DE TACHES DECENTRALISEE

Download or read book CONTRIBUTION A L AMELIORATION DE LA REACTIVITE DES SYSTEMES DE PRODUCTION AUTOMATISES ET FLEXIBLES GRACE A UN PILOTAGE BASE SUR UNE GENERATION DE TACHES DECENTRALISEE written by NICOLAS.. BROISSIN and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 206 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ACTUELLEMENT, LE PILOTAGE D'UN SYSTEME DE PRODUCTION AUTOMATISE ET FLEXIBLE (SPAF) EST PRINCIPALEMENT ENVISAGE SOUS LA PROBLEMATIQUE DE L'ALLOCATION DE TACHES PRE GENEREES (FONCTION D'ORDONNANCEMENT), C'EST-A-DIRE PROGRAMMEES HORS LIGNE ET ATTRIBUEES A UN TYPE PREDEFINI DE MDP.

This book was released on 1994 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ACTUELLEMENT, LES ENTREPRISES EVOLUENT DANS UN ENVIRONNEMENT PARTICULIEREMENT INCERTAIN.

Download or read book G n ration automatique des proc dures de pilotage d une cellule flexible de production written by Dominique Gendreau and published by . This book was released on 1991 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book The Science of Passionate Interests

Download or read book The Science of Passionate Interests written by Bruno Latour and published by . This book was released on 2009 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How can economics become genuinely quantitative? This is the question that French sociologist Gabriel Tarde tackled at the end of his career, and in this pamphlet, Bruno Latour and Vincent Antonin Lépinay offer a lively introduction to the work of the forgotten genius of nineteenth-century social thought. Tarde's solution was in total contradiction to the dominant views of his time: to quantify the connections between people and goods, you need to grasp "passionate interests." In Tarde's view, capitalism is not a system of cold calculations--rather it is a constant amplification in the intensity and reach of passions. In a stunning anticipation of contemporary economic anthropology, Tarde's work defines an alternative path beyond the two illusions responsible for so much modern misery: the adepts of the Invisible Hand and the devotees of the Visible Hand will learn how to escape the sterility of their fight and recognize the originality of a thinker for whom everything is intersubjective, hence quantifiable. At a time when the regulation of financial markets is the subject of heated debate, Latour and Lépinay provide a valuable historical perspective on the fundamental nature of capitalism.

Book Transforming Computer Technology

Download or read book Transforming Computer Technology written by Arthur L. Norberg and published by Johns Hopkins University Press. This book was released on 2000-02-01 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Winner of the Association of American Publishers Professional and Scholarly Publishing Award for Computer Science Over the course of several decades, the Pentagon's Information Processing Techniques Office (IPTO) helped transform computing from a cumbersome enterprise based on batch processing to the instantly interactive, graphically rich, highly intelligent computing of today. With the purpose of improving command and control systems for the military, IPTO researchers strengthened time-sharing, laid the groundwork for graphics and parallel processing, contributed to the study of artificial intelligence, and developed the wide-area network that came to be known as the Internet. Transforming Computer Technology examines these and other developments at the Defense Department's Advanced Research Projects Agency in its heyday between 1962 and 1986. The authors show how Pentagon programs affected significant developments in both computer science and engineering. They analyze the management of the office, the origins and growth of important IPTO programs, and the interaction of the staff with the R & D community. They pay special attention to IPTO's role in executing research at the leading edge of computing and networking and in working with the military to transfer that research into practical use. And they show how, by the 1990s, the research results had been assimilated into systems both for the military and for civilian society.
