Book INTRODUCTION TO AFRICAN SOCIAL POLICIES

Download or read book INTRODUCTION TO AFRICAN SOCIAL POLICIES written by Julien Bokilo and published by American Academic Press. This book was released on 2019-12-19 with total page 236 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the precolonial period to today, Julien Bokilo analyzes the effectiveness of social and economic measures undertaken for the development of the Republic of Congo with regard to all of sub-Saharan Africa. This documented and unprecedented sociohistorical study feeds on new perspectives in public policy planning, development and implementation. • The knowledge of specificities of poverty and exclusion in the African companies; • The possibility of making the correlation and the transposition of the principles of the public policies on the African facts, the case of the reintegration of the native populations and the albinos. In addition, the relevance of this work is in the fact that it tackles the question of the struggle against the poverty and the exclusion, which are problems whose recurrence is quasi endemic and alarming in process of the socio-economic and political development process of African countries. Also, in an economic context of unprecedented crisis in Republic of Congo and in the surrounding countries, the economic zone of the central Africa sub-area mainly, the social policies are of an interest somehow crucial for their capacities to suppress the harmful effects of the recessions. In fact, this work really meets a scientific expectation, as it is based on verifiable arguments, because founded on the theory and the facts.

Book Mapping Versatile Boundaries

Download or read book Mapping Versatile Boundaries written by Regis Darques and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-09-10 with total page 336 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book demonstrates the pivotal role played by state confines in the geography of Balkan countries through powerful GIS and remote sensing analyses. It provides unique mapping perspectives on the Balkan region, with over 140 illustrations. The book is dedicated to applied, historical and economic geographers, as well as political scientists.Because of its high fragmentation, the Balkan area has not been studied on a systematic transnational basis. The persistence of frozen and/or open conflicts has also turned the border issue into an absolute taboo subject for the scientific community and civil society. This results in an apparent “chaos” that most Western observers fail to understand.

    Book Details:
  • Author : NJ Ayuk
  • Publisher : Blackstone Publishing
  • Release : 2023-06-30
  • ISBN :
  • Pages : 289 pages

Download or read book Une Transtion Juste written by NJ Ayuk and published by Blackstone Publishing. This book was released on 2023-06-30 with total page 289 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Managing Technologies and Automated Library Systems in Developing Countries Open Source vs Commercial Options

Download or read book Managing Technologies and Automated Library Systems in Developing Countries Open Source vs Commercial Options written by Bernard Dione and published by Walter de Gruyter. This book was released on 2008-08-27 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The theme of this meeting was the management of technologies in the context of developing countries, and in the light of recent developments concerning especially open source software and applications. Speakers from various countries debated in English and in French over the importance of changing the rules concerning library management systems, as well as related implications. Results show that open source software might be a solution, although some conditions apply.
