Dans le milieu carcéral, les soignants sont confrontés à une forte consommation de substances psychoactives. Elle peut s’expliquer en partie par l’enfermement et l’exacerbation des problèmes liée à l’éloignement familial, le besoin d’oublier mais encore par la rencontre avec des détenus qui les initient à ce mésusage. Des mesures ont donc été mises en place pour lutter contre ce mésusage. Le pharmacien, en collaboration avec l’équipe médicale et paramédicale, a sa place dans cette lutte. Les détenus ont également été sollicités pour diminuer ce mésusage des médicaments dans le cadre de la promotion à la santé, programme soutenu par l’Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS).
