Rockwell Marietta was elected president of the meeting; Edmund Dunn, vice president; William D. Mcginnis, secretary; Raymond S. Coll, corres ponding secretary, and Isaac W. Rutter, treasurer. The sentiment of the meeting was favorable to the holding of such a celebration, and a strong executive committee of representative men was appointed to take the matter in charge. A number of sub-committees, deemed necessary to the success of the celebration, were also appointed and their duties defined.
