Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Albert Einstein has stated – “When the Solution is Simple, God is Answering.” There is in fact a simple answer staring at us from all facets and corners of life, regardless of the question, regardless of the problem. This answer is summarized by a flower and captured in the journey that a seed makes in becoming a flower. In this journey there are 3 stages – the seed or physical state, the stalk or vital state, and the flower or mental state. Any sustainable organization or system will be found to have traversed these stages. Any organization or system that is floundering or facing challenges, will be found to be stuck in one of these stages. Hence, the state of an organization or system can be understood by chronicling the stages of the flower journey it may have gone through. Its road to fulfillment can be envisaged by foreseeing the stages of the flower journey it has yet to go through. This simple truth is true regardless of the scale or complexity of the organization or system. Hence it is true of the person, of a team, of a corporation, of a market, of a country, or of a global system. The Flower Chronicles will elaborate this simple approach through reflecting on many classes of practical organizational and system problems we are confronted with daily. These reflections will be from the realms of personal development, organizational development, industry development, market and financial development, political development, and global development. The book consists of 8 parts. In Part 1 – The Flower Philosophy, the radical approach to organization and system development will be simply laid out. In Part 2 – Individual Development, the key role that an individual has in bringing about ground-breaking change will be explored. In Part 3, Organizational Design & Development, some organizational basics will be laid out, an interesting case-study on the 500-yr old architectural masterpiece, Machu Picchu, will be explored, and some experiments over the course of three years in the application of the Flower Chronicles conducted by the author at Stanford University Medical Center will be discussed. Part 4, Industry Development, will explore the future of key industries such as Food & Agriculture, Energy, Retail, Internet, Software, Healthcare, and Consulting, from a Flower Chronicles perspective. Part 5, Financial Rebirth, will look at how to shift our global financial environment by changing the way markets function, again by the application of the Flower Chronicles paradigm. Part 6, Global Political Development, will in look at some global lessons from the 2012 Presidential Election in the USA, and study some of the issues discussed from a Flower Chronicles perspective. Suggestions for creating a safer, more peaceful world will naturally emerge from also looking at macro- and micro-level developments that need to take place in various regions of the world. Part 7, The Nth + 1 Wave of Sustainability, will examine the deepest drivers of sustainability and provide some insight into how to promote these. The role that Human Resources can play in making this real will be examined. Finally, Part 8, Paradigms for the Future, will examine a flower-based framework of future development, some paradigms to move us along the phases of this framework, and a possible future were the journey to the heart of the flower to be successfully completed. The answers are simple, and are always staring at us in the face. The real issue is whether we have the courage and will to execute what is being suggested. This too is a certainty, but like every other journey, has to go through stages before it culminates in the reality of a flower.

Book How to Avoid a Climate Disaster

Download or read book How to Avoid a Climate Disaster written by Bill Gates and published by Vintage. This book was released on 2021-02-16 with total page 201 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER • In this urgent, authoritative book, Bill Gates sets out a wide-ranging, practical—and accessible—plan for how the world can get to zero greenhouse gas emissions in time to avoid a climate catastrophe. Bill Gates has spent a decade investigating the causes and effects of climate change. With the help of experts in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, political science, and finance, he has focused on what must be done in order to stop the planet's slide to certain environmental disaster. In this book, he not only explains why we need to work toward net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases, but also details what we need to do to achieve this profoundly important goal. He gives us a clear-eyed description of the challenges we face. Drawing on his understanding of innovation and what it takes to get new ideas into the market, he describes the areas in which technology is already helping to reduce emissions, where and how the current technology can be made to function more effectively, where breakthrough technologies are needed, and who is working on these essential innovations. Finally, he lays out a concrete, practical plan for achieving the goal of zero emissions—suggesting not only policies that governments should adopt, but what we as individuals can do to keep our government, our employers, and ourselves accountable in this crucial enterprise. As Bill Gates makes clear, achieving zero emissions will not be simple or easy to do, but if we follow the plan he sets out here, it is a goal firmly within our reach.

Book excerpt: Through a play of Light its codified properties project out to create layer upon layer of fourfold complexity. Space, Time, Gravity, and Energy are perhaps the first layer of Light’s codified properties and emerge as fundamental to cosmic dynamics to-date. Fields such as the electromagnetic field form a second layer. Then quantum particles, atoms, cells, and all the complexity of Natural and Human history form subsequent layers, all the while continuing to materialize the inherent fourfold-richness inherent in Light. This book proposes a process for the creation of Super-Matter similarly architected along fourfold complexity.

Download or read book Emergence Illustrated written by Pravir Malik and published by Possibilities Publishing. This book was released on 2022-10-04 with total page 148 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The point of this book is to illustrate a ubiquitous four-fold functionality that exists in the structuring of this universe. What has emerged through the process of time, starting with the big bang to modern Civilization, is not random but is ordered around this four-fold functionality of Presence, Knowledge, Harmony, and Service. These core functional principles are observed in the nature of reality as set up by light itself. These principles subsequently animate several layers of emergence starting from the ‘field’ level through the ‘quantum particle’ level, the level of ‘atoms,’ ‘cells’, and even ‘civilizations.’ This book will present a mathematics that elaborates the relationship, the four-fold functional relationship to be precise, which exists between one layer of emergence and the next. As such, the expression of the universe will be seen as unanimous with the expression of an evolving four-fold functional richness with more and more aspects and subtleties of the underlying four properties coming to the surface and shaping things. Many illustrations, 52 to be precise, appear throughout the body of this book. These have primarily been inspired by Indian mythological arts and introduce personalities, including Shakti, Sri Krishna, Surya, Shiva, Hanuman, Bhumi, Sita, Agni, Draupadi, Vayu, Jala, Mohini, Akash, and Ganga, amongst others. These personalities are well-known in Indian mythology and some of what they stand for fits seamlessly into the concepts of ‘emergence’ suggested by this book. For those who are already familiar with Indian mythology, this will add additional insight into the concepts of the book. For those who are being introduced to Indian mythology for the first time, some intuitive glance of the mythology may form due to the association of the illustration with the concept it has been coupled with.

Fields such as the electromagnetic field form a second layer. The fate of such a continued fourfold development leading to a foundation of super-matter now lies in our hands. The scales of a quantum-cosmic balance depend on the extent to which a continued and cohesive space-time-energy-gravity quantization, fueled by will and other human faculties becomes operative. Such quantization spurred by the need for functional-richness results in super-matter.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Oceans of Innovation explores the mathematical heart of complex systems. The exploration begins with uncovering the nature of a point in space-time, which is seen to be a function of the orders implicit in time and space. So naturally any point is imbued with innovation-potential. Subsequently a mathematics is developed to suggest how innovation-potential actually becomes the immense diversity of matter and life. The notion of bifurcation to create alternative histories is in this view also seen to be a function of the forces that determine innovation. Randomness, chance, unpredictability are replaced by a “qualified determinism” which is one of the outcomes of the mathematics at the heart of complex systems. Functions for dynamism, stagnation, and diverse and innovative cultures are derived. General mathematical operators true for any complex system are also derived.

Book The Illustrated Oceans of Innovation

Download or read book The Illustrated Oceans of Innovation written by Pravir Malik and published by Possibilities Publishing. This book was released on 2022-05-05 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in an infinitely innovative world. It is part of the very fabric of our existence. Being that this ability to innovate can express itself in massively different ways there are surely therefore a massive number of different approaches to express and frame innovation. Here is one approach to frame such innovation. It has both an artistic and scientific dimension to it. Artistic through necessity - in that when one tries to enter into the reality of what innovation is, there is no expression that can fully represent it, and hence art seems at least to capture the current surge of such a contemplation. But the medium of the art here is mathematical since for me that alone seemed to capture the richness implicit in this de facto aspect of reality. The mathematics expressed here is therefore the art. And this will be abundantly apparent in the attempt, for instance, to capture the reality of a point-instant replete with all possibility. Necessarily the mathematical notation and the resulting mathematics had to expand beyond current norms in mathematics. This may raise eyebrows amongst some mathematicians. But as with my invitation in other recent writings I would welcome such individuals into collaboration to help capture perhaps in more robust ways what the artistic-mathematics here is seeking to express. I also mention that the Illustrator has written a piece relating the art in the book to Indian Art, that appears in the Appendix, primarily to do with the churning of the Ocean, an important event in Indian mythology. The mathematics expressed here is also a science. This is so because it proposes a structure and process to innovation that can be corroborated through observation and experiment. In its scientific aspect this book starts with a derivation of some subjective qualities of light that are proposed to set up objective reality. There is a four-foldness that is seen in this analysis that becomes the basis of the entire mathematics through the rest of the book. Hence the development of the mathematics primarily proceeds through induction, subsequently employing deduction to derive a representative set of mathematical operators that must be true of any complex system. This book is therefore an artistic-mathematical contemplation of the aspect of innovation-reality that exists in every point-instant of any complex system. To make the most of it my suggestion is to suspend any judgment and enter the unfolding contemplation to the degree possible. In this way you may see as I have seen, and this may enrich in some way your own point of view.

Book Cosmology of Light Illustrated

Download or read book Cosmology of Light Illustrated written by Pravir Malik and published by Possibilities Publishinng. This book was released on 2023-12-03 with total page 431 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about Light. It is a story of Light from an apparent beginning to the present, and then also a story of that condition that transcends Time and is hence beginningless. The exploration has been based on imagining light existing at multiple constant speeds and extrapolating the impact of such conceptual spaces on the physical universe. Being so, it is a cosmology – it suggests a nature of the universe – in which all that is, is of Light. Hence, this book describes a Cosmology of Light. A key aspect of the cosmology is the notion of “quanta”, seen as a bridge mechanism that connects possibilities resident in other conceptual spaces to material existence. The medium chosen to express this nature is mathematics. Specifically, as will be discovered, a particular symmetrical “function-based” mathematics is formulated to express the nature of the cosmos. Further, this illustrated version seeks to create a more visceral feel for the mathematics by depicting it with a range of art – abstract, literal, pencil-drawn, computer-generated, and mythological. There are over 150 illustrations in this book providing deeper insight into key aspects of the cosmology. The cosmology describes how that which is unmanifest, manifests, leveraging a light-based, quaternary view of quantum dynamics to do so. In this view, the Self is a mathematical key, a mysterious variable, that delving into the whole that it is, can mathematically change the equilibrium of this dynamic creation. This is represented symbolically by the “quantization-chakra” in the cover illustration, which brings possibilities resident in all the layers of light into practical material existence, ushering in, as it were, a new type of endless creation where richness builds on richness and new types of super-matter on previous super-matter.

This book was released on 2014-04-01 with total page 657 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Quantum Leadership: Transdisciplinary leadership in complex systems Quantum Leadership: Building Better Partnerships for Sustainable Health, Fourth Edition skillfully prepares graduate students to thrive in a world of healthcare reform, complexity, and essential caring service. The Fourth Edition focuses on the current concepts of leadership, data, and research related to the complexities of leadership. The text also emphasizes the importance of principle-driven approaches and minimizes specific procedure-based solutions. This text is a seminal work around the complexity leadership as it applies to healthcare. There are very few other references that have the clarity, depth, and detail essential to enumerate this topic in healthcare organizations. It is especially valuable for graduate programs and DNP programs as it provides a foundation for contemporary leadership and emphasizes the characteristics necessary to lead complex organizations. The Fourth Edition features an additional chapter on the complexity of leadership in health care reform in an effort to incorporate the newest requirements of the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act in a manner that is relevant to leadership development and capacity. Case studies found within each chapter help reinforce translational work while new application exercises found in the "The Quantum Workbook" are an excellent supplement for learning. Additional updates to the text include: chapter podcasts, additional translational and learning material related to chapter case studies. Lastly, all references have been revised and updated to reflect the most current evidence around learning leadership.

Book The Emperor s Quantum Computer

Download or read book The Emperor s Quantum Computer written by Pravir Malik and published by Deep Order Technologies. This book was released on 2018-09-25 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book leverages an alternative interpretation of Quantum Theory explored in the Cosmology of Light book series, to suggest an alternative way to conceive of the fledgling field of Quantum Computing. The dynamics of superposition and entanglement are explored from the point of view of precipitating layers of reality so set up by light traveling at slower and slower speeds down to c, to in fact arrive at a different notion of quanta, of superposition, and of entanglement, that will suggest that reality at the quantum-level may be different from the view commonly held today. The very basis of modern-day quantum computing that relies on infinite number of superposed quantum states, on probability, on observable measurement that brings things into reality, is bought into question in the Light-centered Interpretation discussed in this book. In fact from the point of view of the latter interpretation superposition, entanglement, and reality take on a different meaning and the infinite processing power allegedly true of quantum states, like the new clothes in Han Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes simply does not exist in the manner in which it has been conceived. In the mathematical model of Light presented in this book all emergences are a result of the underlying fourfold properties of Light. Everything can be understood as a precise application of the core Light-Space-Time Emergence model. This is not unlike using binary representation of ones and zeros to code anything. The coding scheme here is a multi-layered fourfold symmetry, capable of modeling infinite diversity that captures functional to practical aspects that define any phenomenon or object. This scheme of coding lends itself to phenomena such as creation and emergence, and hence to a vast range of potential creative computation applications. Such a difference between construction, the focus of digital computing, and creation, the possible focus of quantum computing as elaborated in this book, is perhaps best captured by this image suggested by Albert Einstein: "Nature shows us only the tail of the lion. But there is no doubt in my mind that the lion belongs with it even if he cannot reveal himself to the eye all at once because of his huge dimension."

Book The Mandala Illustrated Story of Light

Download or read book The Mandala Illustrated Story of Light written by Pravir Malik and published by Possibilities Publishing. This book was released on 2021-12-24 with total page 110 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Mandala Illustrated Story of Light explores a journey of light into more and more concrete layer’s of matter and life, using mandalas as an aid to enter more deeply into the journey. The journey begins with the slowing down of light to c, which is posited to have resulted in a Big Bang from which the process of the creation of the layers of matter began. Light projects properties of itself in each surfacing layer of matter and erect pathways, as it were, by which all of existence is structured. The base layer is that of the wavearchetype-electro-magnetic-masspotential spectrum. Quantum particles are light-property accumulations in this field or spectrum. These in turn create atoms, then molecules, and subsequently cells. Each of these layers has been architected by the innate four-foldness inherent in light. Human experience, including sensations, urges, emotions, feelings, will, and thought, and subsequently the structure of civilization are also seen to be projections of the four-foldness innate in light. This story reveals a deep oneness and because of that an innate power that exists in all creations, and reveals something of the deep mystery of Light.

Book The Second Singularity

Download or read book The Second Singularity written by Pravir Malik and published by Pravir Malik. This book was released on 2019-11-24 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It has been said that the future of Life is about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and that as AI advances a point will be reached, the Singularity, when humans will no longer have a clue as to what is going on nor why. Essentially as a species, humans will at this point have been marginalized by a global, singular intelligence, whose capabilities far outstrip human intelligence. On the contrary, this book will make the case that the future of Life is enabled by the pre-existent complexity that exists in every iota of it and that there have already been a series of light-based epiphanies by virtue of which Life in its continuing complexities has emerged as partial-singularities, and further, will culminate in a Second Singularity as more of our species consciously opens to the fullness of Light. The power and capabilities of the Second Singularity will far outstrip any AI-based singularity. This pre-existent complexity derives from the fact that Light exists in multiple states simultaneously. Hence, there is a fundamental and single light-based edifice that informs our universe, and it is by virtue of this light-based edifice that all matter, all life, all mind, and all emergences beyond the level of mind will surface. The future of life, hence, cannot be due to AI. At best, AI, can create a process by which many tasks that usually require utilization of the fundamental light-derived capacity of intelligence in order to be completed, can be completed by an exhaustively repetitive running of algorithms driven by massive computing power, hence giving the illusion of intelligence. Projected forward, the exhaustively repetitive running of algorithms driven by massive computing power, endow a practically ubiquitous digitally-enabled strata to control many tasks, and this may create the phenomenon of a “singularity” – in which humankind effectively cannot even fathom how things are happening anymore and is seemingly outpaced and outthought at every step in every direction by an ‘intelligence’ that appears to be all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful. But this kind of singularity is fundamentally separated from the light-based edifice behind all things, and from which all things rise. It is hence not a true singularity in the sense of a finite function assuming infinite value, but is fundamentally limited in its scope by virtue of its disconnection from the founts of Life. This does not preclude an AI-based singularity from having massive practical power that can have an enormous destructive or constructive effect on humankind and material life. What it does mean though is that there is another singularity, a human-founded singularity, the Second Singularity, which can exceed the limits of any AI-based singularity due to its fundamental union with the light-based edifice that is behind and informs all of Life. The possible human-founded singularity, it will be discovered, is one in a long series of naturally occurring though partial-singularities that derive their existence from a fundamental union with the light-based edifice behind all things. Such partial-singularities are characterized by having all the power of the light-edifice behind them, though the emergences in such partial-singularities are not necessarily aware of their oneness with the light-based edifice. In the Second Singularity humans become aware of such oneness, becoming conscious projections animated by a single intelligence, love, and power of which they are a part. It is hence no more the human-level capacity that drives such humans, but the infinite capacities of the one light-based edifice that drives. This book focuses on the mathematics of emergence of these naturally occurring partial-singularities, leading up to the possible human-founded singularity that will endow humankind with the potential for extraordinary capacities.

Book Quantum Certainty Illustrated

Download or read book Quantum Certainty Illustrated written by Pravir Malik and published by Possibilities Publishing. This book was released on 2023-03-14 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book proposes a process to create sustainable history that involves entering into an activation-state. Such an activation-state opens a quantum-window into layers of reality formed by light moving at different speeds. Collective meta-functions, whether of plants, animals, or humans exist in these layers and it is the enhancing or creation of such a meta-function that sets into motion a precise process of space, time, energy, and gravity quantization, by which the nature of reality can be changed. As such there is no uncertainty at these decisive moments of history, but a quantum-certainty that is worked out by the mathematical possibilities present at the time, and as elaborated by the mathematical model presented in the book. This book is the sixth in the Artistic Interpretation of a Cosmology of Light book series, and the sixteenth book to do with a cosmology of light and is accompanied by insightful pencil drawings and other art totaling 96 illustrations in all. The cover illustration depicts the inevitable precipitation and growth of diverse forces set into motion once deep yearning activates quantum certainty. The Rudra aspect is there to clear the ground so that space-time-energy-gravity quantization activated by quantum certainty, becomes fruitful. The Shiva aspect is there to continue to maintain some order until the next level of equilibrium is established.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Musings on Light has been written at the end of a journey. This journey involved a mathematical articulation of the power in light summarized in ten books across two Cosmology of Light book series. It is a contemplative, primarily non-mathematical summary of many of the key concepts that are contained in the ten Cosmology of Light books. I intended for these musings to be meditative and to assist the reader to intuitively grasp what is meant by Cosmology of Light. To further assist with the meditation, each of the musings of which there are 50, is accompanied by a carefully designed illustration that will further allow the reader to enter more deeply into the body of Cosmology of Light. Cosmology of Light is intended to be a unified theory of existence from the point of view of light. Hence, it ties together possibility that exists in the native state of light where it is imagined to exist infinitely fast, to the process of multiple quantizations by which light projects itself in layers mirroring symmetrical fourfold realities, to the emergence of space-time-energy-gravity as a cosmic container at the time of the big bang, to the emergence of matter and life in layers of quantum particles, atoms, and cells, to the emergence of humans and culture and civilizations, so that physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, and sociology are all seen as faces of the one body of Light, always behind, immanent in all, and of which all are only richer and richer expressions.
