Matériel et méthodes : Il s’agit d’une étude épidémiologique descriptive transversale, monocentrique, portant sur 106 mères hospitalisées en Unité mères-enfants de l’Hôpital Couple Enfant de Grenoble durant la période du 21 octobre au 20 novembre2009. Résultats : Sept pour cent des mères ne connaissent pas la position de sommeil recommandée. Quatre pour cent savent qu’il est recommandé de faire dormir le nourrisson dans la chambre des parents et quatre pour cent considèrent le co-sleeping comme étant préférable. Plus d’une mère sur dix ne connait pas l’importance de l’utilisation d’un lit rigide. 42% ne connaissent pas l'influence du tabagisme maternel sur lerisque de MSN et 46% celui du tabagisme passif du nourrisson. Six mères sur dix n'ont pas bénéficié d'une information. Quatre mères sur dix ont connaissance de la page consacrée aux mesures de préventions notifiée sur le carnet de santé. Conclusion : A l’heure actuelle aucun moyen ne permet de détecter les nourrissons à risque de MSN. On constate une méconnaissance des mesures de prévention. L’évaluation des connaissances des mères confirme la nécessité de continuer à promouvoir les mesures de prévention. La sensibilisation via les professionnels de santé, n'est pas suffisamment réalisée.

Méthode : Il s'agit d'une étude transversale, descriptive, monocentrique. Le recueil de données a eu lieu en maternité par observation directe des sages-femmes au cours des entretiens de sortie des mères ayant accouché. Résultats : Concernant les conseils de prévention de la mort subite du nourrisson, l'ensemble des consignes de couchage du nouveau-né en sécurité a été correctement délivré par les sages-femmes. Cependant, les motifs de consultation en urgence donnés aux parents sont incomplets. La qualité des entretiens a été évaluée sur trois critères, la présence du père, l'absence d'interruption lors des conseils et la diffusion concomitante de supports papier. Conclusion : Le principal axe d'amélioration pourrait consister à favoriser la diffusion exhaustive et systématique de l'ensemble des conseils de prévention de la mort subite du nourrisson, en proposant une brochure regroupant l'ensemble des principes de prévention de la mort subite du nourrisson.

Evaluer les sources d'information et comparer leurs efficacités. Matériels et méthodes : Il s'agit d'une étude descriptive qui a été menée auprès de 321 parents en unité mère-enfant. Le recueil de données a eu lieu dans les maternités du RPAI le jour du retour à domicile à l'aide d'un questionnaire anonyme. Les parents ont été interrogés sur leurs connaissances sur les conseils de prévention de la mort subite du nourrisson. Résultats : Sur l'ensemble de l'échantillon, les connaissances sont plutôt satisfaisantes. Le couchage sur le dos, l'utilisation d'un matelas rigide et la température de la chambre sont les recommandations les mieux assimilées. Les modalités de couchage et les facteurs protecteurs sont les notions les moins connues. Des différences statistiques de connaissances sont observées en fonction de la catégorie socio-professionnelle et de la nationalité. Aucune source d'information ne semble plus efficace que les autres, c'est plutôt la répétition des informations qui va permettre leur assimilation. Conclusion : Les connaissances parentales sont plutôt satisfaisantes cependant, au vu de l'enjeu et malgré les freins à cette prévention, les professionnels de santé ne doivent pas relâcher l'effort d'information. Il est important de systématiser cette prévention en insistant particulièrement auprès des populations à risques.

En effet, elle reste encore la première cause de mortalité des enfants entre un mois et un an. La problématique posée est « en quoi les informations données en suites de couches et les connaissances des mères impactent-elles sur la prévention de la MIN à la sortie de la maternité. L'objectif principal de l'étude est d'évaluer la connaissance des femmes à la maternité sur la prévention de la MIN après information donnée par les professionnels de santé et notamment les sages-femmes. Méthode : Il s'agissait d'une étude épidémiologique observationnelle descriptive transversale et monocentrique sur les connaissances des mères et les informations données au service de maternité du CHR de Metz-Thionville, site de Thionville, au sujet de la prévention de la MIN. Le recueil de données a été réalisé par le biais d'un questionnaire distribué le dernier jour du séjour à la maternité aux patientes en janvier et février 2019. Résultats : La population cible se composait donc de 60 patientes. A travers les questionnaires récoltés, 60% des patientes avaient reçu une information au sujet de la MIN au cours de leur séjour à la maternité et 40% n'avaient eu aucune information. Ensuite, 23% des patientes n'avaient jamais entendu parler de la MIN avant le séjour à la maternité. Cependant en sortant de la maternité, 100% des patientes savaient qu'il fallait coucher leur enfant sur le dos. On remarquait également que les multipares avaient de meilleures connaissances en matière de prévention de la MIN. Conclusion : Pour conclure, il y a encore trop peu d'information donnée à la maternité par les professionnels de santé sur la MIN alors que les mamans en expriment le besoin. Cependant, on remarque que les femmes ont tout de même des connaissances à ce sujet.

Matériels et méthodes : Il s'agissait d'une étude descriptive, observationnelle, transversale, portant sur 224 enfants, de 0 à 6 mois, consultant chez un médecin généraliste ou un pédiatre, à Grenoble et dans sa communauté d'agglomération du 22 avril au 16 juin 2013. Résultats : Concernant le mode de couchage, nous avions un taux de conformité de 77.3%. Concernant la literie, nous avions 60.25% de conformité avec un taux le plus bas de 20.55% pour les nourrissons qui dormaient sans objets supplémentaires. Concernant l'environnement, nous avions 72.25% de conformité. Concernant la médication, 100% des parents déclaraient ne pas l'utiliser. 44.8% des enfants bénéficiaient d'un facteur de protection et 61.6% du porte-bébé. Les mères de 20-25ans avaient les pratiques les moins conformes pour le mode de couchage, la literie, et l'environnement. Les mères primipares avaient les pratiques les plus conformes pour le mode de couchage et la literie. Les mères exerçant une profession libérale avaient les pratiques les moins conformes pour la literie et l'environnement.
