Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Confessions of a Freelancer is today's leading guide on starting, growing, or scaling your freelance business. Even if you're working in a full-time job, you can create the life you want through a side hustle you enjoy. Many people don't realize that freelancing isn't an all-or-nothing game. In fact, it's the only true way to break free from the monotony of working a 9-to-5 job. What if you could go from dreading work to truly enjoying your work - doing what you love day in and day out, feeling more fulfilled? It would change your life. My name is Michael Fleischner and I made the transition from full-time corporate work to living my dream as a freelancer. All of this was made possible through adopting a freelance mindset, developing the confidence to go out on my own, and following proven strategies for successful freelancing. The best part is that anyone can start a side hustle and achieve similar results. Freelancing is a great way to earn extra income. It can also become the way you make a living. This guide shares my personal journey, transitioning from a desire to climb the corporate ladder to freelancing full-time. My journey wasn't unique except that I'm probably the last person you would ever suspect would make a living as a freelancer. I was raised to believe that you made money by working for a corporation and clawing your way to the top. Now, looking back, I know it was a lie. The fear of having your own business is 100% misguided. I was led to believe, by those who never ran their own business, that it was hard, difficult, and came with too many risks. None of it was true. And it all started with a little side project. My journey began with a little editing here, some writing there, and some consulting. It wasn't long before I started taking on more and more projects after work and on the weekends. I told myself if there ever came a day when I was making the same money freelancing that I was making in my full-time job, then I'd make the leap. That day came sooner than I expected. Within a few years of taking on a side hustle or two, I made the transition to living my dream. Making the leap has given me wealth, freedom, and most importantly a sense of satisfaction. What I learned along the way is shared in this ultimate guide to freelancing. The journey hasn't always been easy but it sure does pay dividends. Today I run my own digital marketing agency, leveraging dozens of staff and freelancers to deliver quality services to customers. And, most importantly, I couldn't be happier. I'm doing what I'm most passionate about and working with people whom I genuinely care for. In this guide, I reveal specific ways to set up your freelance business for success. How to position and price your services. You'll also learn how to find customers, automate processes, and accelerate your growth. Whether you want to generate an additional $500 per month freelancing, $1,000 per month, $10,000 per month, or more, these strategies are proven to get you there. Remember, freelancing isn't an all-or-nothing game. You can start with a small project and go from there. If you want to grow as an individual, financially, and explore your passion, you must begin with the first step. This guide will lead you through this amazing journey called freelancing. While you're on your journey, I encourage you to join me and other freelancers on the Freelance Training Academy community. Freelancing can be a solo journey but it doesn't have to be. Instead, connect with other freelancers and let this community be your support. See you at the top!

Book Confessions of a Freelance Writer

Download or read book Confessions of a Freelance Writer written by Terry Morris and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2001-11 with total page 358 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Confessions of a Freelance Writer, Terry Morris, already retired and in her seventies, wrote her recollections of the outstanding experiences she had during her forty-year career as one of the top magazine writers in the United States. From the more than 100 articles she published in many widely circulated magazines, including McCall’s, Red- book, Reader’s Digest, and Cosmo- politan, she selects outstanding examples and describes her methods of obtaining the stories, how she sold them, and their aftermath. She characterizes herself as a “garbage pail”— someone who picks up ideas and leads from throwaway lines others have discarded and builds them into personal-interest stories about all types of ordinary people in extreme situations. She also discusses how she established relationships with key figures in publishing in order to see her stories in print. This book should be of interest not only to the average reader but to aspiring authors in a large mass market.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This poetry collection focuses on themes, metaphors, allusions, parallelism, ideologies, identities, realities, cultural statuses, traditions, histories, and perceptions in societies versus women and vice versa in a pool of external to internal makings. What makes this collection ideal and pivotal are the moralities, values, and a submarine effect which mirrors the doors to doorways with voices not heard and spoken, which masters the details of lullabies broken and salvaged by the chains of attentions viewed in a naked tale-tale sign. My 38 Confessions goes into deep depth in confessions of women versus society and vice versa, but the algorithm shows a Casablanca effect with pure thematic presence.

Book excerpt: Now available in paperback, Sybil Exposed is the New York Times bestselling book that offers a new perspective on the smash hit book and film, Sybil, and on multiple personality disorder itself. Sybil: a name that resonates with legions of obsessed fans who followed the nonfiction blockbuster from 1973. The book rocketed multiple personality disorder into public consciousness and played a major role in having the diagnosis added to the psychiatric bible, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. But what do we really know about how Sybil came to be? In her news-breaking book Sybil Exposed, journalist Debbie Nathan gives proof that the allegedly true story outlined in the megabestseller was largely fabricated. The actual identity of Sybil (Shirley Mason) has been available for some years, as has the idea that the book might have been exaggerated. But Nathan reveals the trio of women behind the legend: the willing patient, her ambitious shrink, and the imaginative journalist who spun their story into bestseller gold. Sybil Exposed draws from an enormous trail of papers, records, photos, and tapes to unearth the lives and passions of these three women whose story exploded into an epic movement with consequences beyond their wildest dreams. Set across the twentieth century and rooted in a time when few professional roles were available to women, this is a story of corrosive sexism, bold but unchecked ambition, runaway greed, utter human vulnerability, duplicity and shared delusion, shaky theories of psychoanalysis exuberantly and drastically practiced, and how one modest young woman’s life turned psychiatry on its head and radically changed the course of therapy—and our culture, as well.

Book excerpt: Hello Readers! Thank you so much for picking up this book! We are glad that you want to spend your time reading the confessions of the writers. However, before you delve into the heartfelt revelations, can you think of a meaning of confessions? Well, if you look up into the dictionary it should be accepting being guilty of committing a crime. But from the compiler's view confession is the acknowledgement and the acceptance of the self. The human self is often held guilty of expressing its true identity and feelings. You see our self is often made not a house that embraces emotions but a storehouse that dumps sentiments. Because the sentiments are usually buried, human beings mostly feel attacked and threatened by their inner self. This is the reason why humans are latched in their outer world. The humans who were supposed to be the conduit of the home and the world, do not know how to worship their home(their sentiments). So to turn individuals to their home for sometime , ‘Confessions’ was created. This compilation is aimed to alter the literal meaning of confessions. The compiler urged the writers to own up to their sentiments and see their inner world as their power. So my lovely readers, what you will read at every turn in confessions is the POWER OF SENTIMENTS!
