Download or read book CONCEPTS OF INTERNATIONAL TREATIES written by JOSEPH IDIGO and published by American Academic Press. This book was released on 2023-12-26 with total page 619 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book deals extensively with commentaries on all articles in the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties 1969. The book starts with the introduction to treaty and, then, the management of treaties that brings in, as a starting point, the International Law Commission (ILC) and the mandate it received for the codifying of customary international laws and enhancing the progressive development of international law. After this part, the book, then, goes into dealing with each article in the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (VCLT) 1969. Each article is backed by the various activities of the Law Commission that gave rise to it. Then, there are relevant references (in footnotes) that make the contents of each article richer and more explanatory. Each chapter ends with a summary to help the reader easily and quickly remember the highlights of the treated article in that chapter. This process continues till article 85 VCLT, the last article in the VCLT. The realization that Treaty Law is an important aspect of International Law is the main motivation for writing this book. Thus, it is suitable for all international law practitioners and international organizations.

Therefore fodder crops and turf swards should be constantly improved to follow modern trends in agriculture production and landscape architecture. The wide range of breeding programs for forage and amenity species, as well as new breeding methods and techniques, is rapidly expanding the boundaries and is making it possible to achieve outstanding breeding results. This book includes papers presented at the 30th EUCARPIA Fodder Crops and Amenity Grasses Section Meeting. The challenging title of the book focuses on breeding of quantitative traits, which directly impact the profitability and sustainability of grasslands and fodder crops production, as well as on multidisciplinary approach in grassland research and utilisation. Included papers offer a unique collection of ideas and breakthroughs in the fields of fodder crops and amenity grasses breeding and genetics, as well as in the creative and innovative application of new tools in practical breeding.

Download or read book Philon D Alexandrie written by Jean Danielou and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2009-07-02 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Philo of Alexandria, according to Cardinal Danielou, represents the first attempt to correct Greek philosophical thought with biblical revelation. Philo was a faithful Jew who studiously avoided syncretism with pagan religion: biblical worship could only be radically monotheistic. But Philo represents more than a spiritual master; he inaugurated Judeo-Christian philosophy itself. But even here, Philo avoided syncretism with Platonism and remained highly orthodox. Modifying Greek philosophy at the points where it conflicted with biblical revelation, Philo built the fundamentals of a Judeo-Christian way of looking at the world that would have a profound influence for centuries to come.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This interdisciplinary volume collects contributions from experts in their respective fields with as common theme diagrams. Diagrams play a fundamental role in the mathematical visualization and philosophical analysis of forms in space. Some of the most interesting and profound recent developments in contemporary sciences, whether in topology, geometry, dynamic systems theory, quantum field theory or string theory, have been made possible by the introduction of new types of diagrams, which, in addition to their essential role in the discovery of new classes of spaces and phenomena, have contributed to enriching and clarifying the meaning of the operations, structures and properties that are at the heart of these spaces and phenomena. The volume gives a closer look at the scope and the nature of diagrams as constituents of mathematical and physical thought, their function in contemporary artistic work, and appraise, in particular, the actual importance of the diagrams of knots, of braids, of fields, of interaction, of strings in topology and geometry, in quantum physics and in cosmology, but also in theory of perception, in plastic arts and in philosophy. The editors carefully curated this volume to be an inspiration to students and researchers in philosophy, phenomenology, mathematics and the sciences, as well as artists, musicians and the general interested audience.
