Book Non traditional Dynamics in Electronics Theory and Practice

Download or read book Non traditional Dynamics in Electronics Theory and Practice written by Sergey N. Vladimirov and published by Scientific Research Publishing, Inc. USA. This book was released on 2010-10-04 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The main theme of the proposed book is devoted to investigation of non-trivial problems of functioning of Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) electronic devices and systems in the various type dynamic instability modes. Both flows and maps (representations) are considered because the relation between maps and flows was repeatedly discussed in different publications. On the contrary, all systems described in the offered book for the first time are considered from the point of view either internal structure, or the description and analysis.

Book Computer Aided Design of Control Systems

Download or read book Computer Aided Design of Control Systems written by M. A. Cuenod and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2014-05-19 with total page 703 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Computer Aided Design of Control Systems focuses on the use of computers to analyze and design the control of various processes, as well as the development of program packages with different algorithms for digital computers. The selection first takes a look at the computer aided design of minimal order controllers, including design of interacting and noninteracting dynamic controllers of minimal order and basic algorithm. The book then discusses an accelerated Newton process to solve Riccati equation through matrix sign function; suboptimal direct digital control of a trickle-bed absorption column; and structural design of large systems employing a geometric approach. The text underscores the computer as an aid for the implementation of advanced control algorithms on physical processes and analysis of direct control algorithms and their parallel realization. Topics include hardware influences on the control, process influence, and interactive structure design of direct control systems. The book also takes a look at the optimal control of randomly sampled linear stochastic systems; computer aided design of suboptimal test signals for system identification; and computer aided design of multi-level systems with prescribed structure and control constraints. The selection is a dependable source of data for readers interested in the uses of computers.

Book Variant Construction from Theoretical Foundation to Applications

Download or read book Variant Construction from Theoretical Foundation to Applications written by Jeffrey Zheng and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-12-17 with total page 409 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This open access book presents theoretical framework and sample applications of variant construction. The first part includes the components variant logic, variant measurements, and variant maps, while the second part covers sample applications such as variation with functions, variant stream ciphers, quantum interference, classical/quantum random sequences, whole DNA sequences, and multiple-valued pulse sequences. Addressing topics ranging from logic and measuring foundation to typical applications and including various illustrated maps, it is a valuable guide for theoretical researchers in discrete mathematics; computing-, quantum- and communication scientists; big data engineers; as well as graduate and upper undergraduate students.

Book Identification and System Parameter Estimation 1982

Download or read book Identification and System Parameter Estimation 1982 written by G. A. Bekey and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2016-06-06 with total page 869 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Identification and System Parameter Estimation 1982 covers the proceedings of the Sixth International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Symposium. The book also serves as a tribute to Dr. Naum S. Rajbman. The text covers issues concerning identification and estimation, such as increasing interrelationships between identification/estimation and other aspects of system theory, including control theory, signal processing, experimental design, numerical mathematics, pattern recognition, and information theory. The book also provides coverage regarding the application and problems faced by several engineering and scientific fields that use identification and estimation, such as biological systems, traffic control, geophysics, aeronautics, robotics, economics, and power systems. Researchers from all scientific fields will find this book a great reference material, since it presents topics that concern various disciplines.

Book Handbook of Noise and Vibration Control

Download or read book Handbook of Noise and Vibration Control written by Malcolm J. Crocker and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2007-10-05 with total page 1594 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Two of the most acclaimed reference works in the area of acoustics in recent years have been our Encyclopedia of Acoustics, 4 Volume set and the Handbook of Acoustics spin-off. These works, edited by Malcolm Crocker, positioned Wiley as a major player in the acoustics reference market. With our recently published revision of Beranek & Ver's Noise and Vibration Control Engineering, Wiley is a highly respected name in the acoustics business. Crocker's new handbook covers an area of great importance to engineers and designers. Noise and vibration control is one largest areas of application of the acoustics topics covered in the successful encyclopedia and handbook. It is also an area that has been under-published in recent years. Crocker has positioned this reference to cover the gamut of topics while focusing more on the applications to industrial needs. In this way the book will become the best single source of need-to-know information for the professional markets.

Book Identification of Dynamic Systems

Download or read book Identification of Dynamic Systems written by Rolf Isermann and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-11-22 with total page 705 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Precise dynamic models of processes are required for many applications, ranging from control engineering to the natural sciences and economics. Frequently, such precise models cannot be derived using theoretical considerations alone. Therefore, they must be determined experimentally. This book treats the determination of dynamic models based on measurements taken at the process, which is known as system identification or process identification. Both offline and online methods are presented, i.e. methods that post-process the measured data as well as methods that provide models during the measurement. The book is theory-oriented and application-oriented and most methods covered have been used successfully in practical applications for many different processes. Illustrative examples in this book with real measured data range from hydraulic and electric actuators up to combustion engines. Real experimental data is also provided on the Springer webpage, allowing readers to gather their first experience with the methods presented in this book. Among others, the book covers the following subjects: determination of the non-parametric frequency response, (fast) Fourier transform, correlation analysis, parameter estimation with a focus on the method of Least Squares and modifications, identification of time-variant processes, identification in closed-loop, identification of continuous time processes, and subspace methods. Some methods for nonlinear system identification are also considered, such as the Extended Kalman filter and neural networks. The different methods are compared by using a real three-mass oscillator process, a model of a drive train. For many identification methods, hints for the practical implementation and application are provided. The book is intended to meet the needs of students and practicing engineers working in research and development, design and manufacturing.
