The Bankruptcy Code, as of June 1, 2020, is reproduced in full. Unlike the UCC, there are no official comments for the Bankruptcy Code, and the legislative history is spotty at best. As a result, only the Code is offered here. In addition, selections from Title 18 and Title 28 of the United States Code that are relevant to bankruptcy law are included. New to the 2020 Edition: Small Business Reorganization Act (SBRA), new subchapter V of Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, effective February 1, 2020, a major revision of the Bankruptcy Code. Section 104(b) of the Bankruptcy Code provides for readjustment of certain dollar figures at three-year intervals beginning in 1998.
