This book was released on 2020-03-18 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 1.0 Overview School is a complex organization where the miniature society assembles and primarily involved in the process of producing ‘Man’. It also prepares the students to become professionals. The effectiveness of a school depends upon numerous factors such as teaching-learning process, infrastructure, school culture, commitment of faculty, co-operation of parents and non-teaching staff, school administrators, government involvement quality of students, availability of learning resources and cooperation of local community. Munishi, M.M (2008), has quoted “quality of education is perceived in terms of satisfaction of teachers, students and society. The totality of features and characteristics of education and its related services bear on its ability to satisfy or implied needs”. Berry and Parasuraman (1993), view the strategic success of service organization depends on the ability of service providers to enhance their quality by consistently or exceeding expectation. But educational institutions are lack of mechanism to assess service quality. But it is a vital issue to evaluate students’ expectation either from outside or inside. Baron (2000), stresses that the issue of quality not only through the traditional way such as course review, feedback for the quality of course delivery, but also through evaluating students as an element that are listened and encourage to participate in decision making that is more helpful for a positive outcome in service quality.

Book Total Quality Management

Download or read book Total Quality Management written by Peratec Ltd and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 1994-04-30 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Quality is a customer issue. It arises because customers require products and services, which not only meet their performance requirements but are satisfac tory in terms of safety, length of working life and pride of ownership. In a manufacturing organization, therefore, the achievement of quality standards is not restricted to the production departments. It extends to all parts of the business from conceptual design to marketing, from order processing and distribution. A quality product is not just a solidly made item dating from the days when 'Made in Britain' distinguished goods from all the inferior products coming out of the emerging industries of the Far East. It is a product which ranks high against all the criteria which sophisticated consumers now use to evaluate the things they buy. If you agree with the argument that a company is much more likely to produce high quality if all departments are motivated to achieve high quality results then you already have a good understanding of the basic principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). But TQM is not a 'quick fix' or a magic cure. It is a management technique designed to involve all parts of the business in the pursuit of, and commitment to, the highest quality result. By involving everyone from the Chief Executive to the most junior employee in the company's objectives, in a way which means something in their particular job, the company is well on the way to achieving the best results its workforce can achieve.

Book Quality Assurance in the Era of Individualized Medicine

Download or read book Quality Assurance in the Era of Individualized Medicine written by Moumtzoglou, Anastasius S. and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2019-11-29 with total page 346 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is a significant deficiency among contemporary medicine practices reflected by experts making medical decisions for a large proportion of the population for which no or minimal data exists. Fortunately, our capacity to procure and apply such information is rapidly rising. As medicine becomes more individualized, the implementation of health IT and data interoperability become essential components to delivering quality healthcare. Quality Assurance in the Era of Individualized Medicine is a collection of innovative research on the methods and utilization of digital readouts to fashion an individualized therapy instead of a mass-population-directed strategy. While highlighting topics including assistive technologies, patient management, and clinical practices, this book is ideally designed for health professionals, doctors, nurses, hospital management, medical administrators, IT specialists, data scientists, researchers, academicians, and students.
