Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The last several decades have seen an ever-increasing interest in matters Spiritual, in Angels, the Papacy, and Religions. This is reflected in our pop culture: TV, MTV, music, books, movies. And the Press. An evangelical movement promises reconciliation between Catholics and Protestants. All of the above could be should be - a plus. The author, however, posits that the jury is still out, and that there could be a minus. He suggests the possibility of a coming clash between Faiths, of violence in the name of God. This is nothing new; witness the Crusades, Inquisitions, European religious wars, the persecutions that brought the first settlers to America, and now todays religiously inspired acts of international terrorism. The author - a Bible student and devoted follower of Christ - has been paying rapt attention to developing religious events and has written eight studies on theological themes originally prepared as notes for the teaching of an Adult Education class. They touch on Scriptural prophecies, controversial Bible texts, and events transpiring in the world of Religion. As such they are relevant to this day and to the spiritual direction in which we seem to be heading; as a Faith, a nation, and a world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is written to break the greatest deception the devil (or adversary of God) has ever accomplished among Christians and nations. The devil is known as the Deceiver of Nations. KJV Revelation 12: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. This specific deception has been missed by every nation. The devil (adversary of God) worked this deception with his usual intent. KJV John 10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The devils MO or Mode of Operation is to steal, kill and destroy. It was his intent to hide the Eleventh Commandment, just so he (the devil), could steal, kill, and destroy God-kind. But God came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Which would you rather have? Did you know that if you a leader of the church you will be responsible for breaking commandments of God (Exodus 32)? This is call to break the deception devil has woven. My impression from the Lord is over a Billion souls at stake. There are over a Billion souls both in the churches and still lost that this can and will affect.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: he exhorts against fraud. Here, he scares the opinion that even though Slave trade, Scramble and Partition as well.as Colonialism had come- and gone the impact of those social vices are still being felt. He indicates that people still hide under the canopy (and/or shadow) of such vices and use those .as excuses for the socio-politico-economic problems ravaging our nations. He suggests that it is time to let go of the past and move forward. That, it is time to divest ourselves of the spirit of atomism, and imbibe ourselves with the spirit of collectivism and thereby work together towards identifying the various particles of problems that have thus far conglomerated in submerging our nations in economic backwardness. He strongly advocates that it is time to emancipate ourselves from mental encumbrances and thereby realize that we are the only ones who can save our nations from economic squalor. But, he maintains that while he does not profess to have gotten all the (right) answers to our economic and socio-politico anomalies, the suggestions contained herein are a pointer in the right direction and only a mere attempt in that regard.

Book excerpt: "The Eleventh Commandment," written by Choles Meeks Phillips and Michael Phillips, offers a work of fiction which seeks to dramatize the life and complex destiny of a powerful southern man and his family. Centered on rich landowner Tom Lacey, the saga reveals that his demanding personality has put a great deal of stress upon his family. Tom is not the type of man to hide his disappointment in his children, and when his daughter Hannah becomes pregnant by a black farmhand named Lem, Tom reacts by killing the man. Because of Lem's light appearance, Tom passes off the child as white. Tom feels a great deal of affection for the boy and treats him well despite his mixed parentage. Through a detailed plot, the chronicle follows Tom as his complicated actions and personality eventually catch up with him. As the story concludes, Tom has come to see the error of his ways and tries to make amends for his racial prejudices. In "The Eleventh Commandment," the author's descriptions of events, supporting characters, and settings are intended to augment the scope and tone of this narrative.
