Book Commander Tom S Quantum Leap for Humanity

Download or read book Commander Tom S Quantum Leap for Humanity written by Mayan Aries and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2015-09-18 with total page 235 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Back in 2012, when the planets aligned, the Earth was too laden to support itself and it had sunk slightly in the atmosphere causing the planet to become cold and dark resulting in more fear and chaos on the planet. My name is Mayan Aries, I work for the ancient Mayans in telecommunication and broadcast frequencies. I was awakened in 2011 by these divine spirits whom I communicate with spiritually as well as telepathically. They have always watched over the planet to ensure that it remains in Universal balance. These beings were responsible for the creation of the first solar calendar and were able to successfully forecast many future events as a result of these detailed solar-planetary energy calculations. They were also responsible for the creation of the Seven Wonders of the World. They have been telepathically connected to many unaware humans as new technology was invented. It is with the guidance of these divine beings that humans continue to create and evolve. It is in the realm of creation, when you are able to quiet the traffic of your mind, you may be able to pick up a thought or suggestion from an alternate dimension. Most will claim this idea as their own, however, I believe otherwise. This is the story of my Alien colleague, Commander Tom. I met her while working for the Ascended Masters. She too was a human awakened to participate in the spiritual ascension of rising from the 3rd dimensional soul to higher frequencies activating her higher consciousness. She had already been recruited by the Ascended Masters who were building a new future and would be forming a new system of government. She was a Quantum jumper, working with the Aliens on the re-stabilization of the planet. My name is Commander Tom, I was given this name during my ascension. My job had always been in Technology. I worked to assist the field technicians with installation of satellite and wireless frequencies. Back in 2011, I was on a field mission in our nations capital. I was researching the microwave towers. We had hoped that we could increase their power to transmit and receive signals in greater distances in an effort to conserve Satellite space. We were investigating the effects of the corrosion produced by the metal towers on the environment. We were also researching the frequency exchange between these devices on the surrounding environment which we felt was out of balance by observing the natural habitat surrounding our equipment. We were also considering solar powered earth stations and were trying to develop new methods of transmission that did not utilize our existing satellite frequencies and bandwidths. We were hoping to create Earth Stations that were able to simulate the satellite programming to send local transmissions. This would increase the availability of space providing an increase in local and regional programming leaving the Clark Belt more space for future development of space communications and help to resolve the political pressure on the telecommunications business. It was an exciting time in technology, the future possibilities were infinite. I felt obligated to assist in not only providing access to this technology, but to also take responsibility for the damages it had caused the planets habitat. We needed to ensure that our man-made structures did not destroy the very environment that enabled us to survive as a human race. I had a lot on my mind. Every day I wondered if the technology was good for us or if it would harm us in the future by creating energy fields that our human body suit would be unable to navigate around. Then I had an accident which transformed my life. I met and joined the Ascended Masters to aid in the preservation and evolution of the planet for the 2nd Millennium. This is the story of the start of my journey.

Excerpt from A Wake Up Call to the Kids of the World. Thomas Alan Berg Government defined me as a citizen who must fitin and follow the rules. Religion defined me as a sinner who must repent and suffer to gain grace. Darwin defi ned me as a lump of human flesh that evolved from the apes. Capitalism defined me as a laborer, customer and/or consumer. But it wasnt until I studied Thomas Alan Bergs teachings, that I realized - beyond the war between creationism and evolution - there is a luminous middle ground where the old millennial paradigms are transformed and integrated into a fresh new vision - the liberating Curriculum of the Cosmic Super Self! UTC offers hope for a future free from terrorized enslavement by suggesting that the next quantum leap for the American Dream is a spiritual awakening from the failed hard work=money=success paradigm. Capitalism without compassion and caring lets too many people slip through the cracks. This opus argues convincingly that we must rise above the old systems of thought to become a race of Cosmic Super Beings, Masters of the Quantum Field of Infinite Possibility. -Frank Henshaw, Grass Valley, CA.

Book Specifying and Securing a Social Minimum in the Battle Against Poverty

Download or read book Specifying and Securing a Social Minimum in the Battle Against Poverty written by Toomas Kotkas and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2019-12-26 with total page 352 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book addresses a topic that is currently high on the agenda in many fora: how to specify and secure a social minimum. The term 'social minimum' has different meanings, depending on the context. These contexts are examined in this book from different perspectives, including law, sociology, philosophy, politics and economics. In the first part, the social minimum is discussed from a conceptual and theoretical point of view. The second part shows the various ways in which the social minimum can be specified and measured. There is a need for new indicators that take into account, for instance, aspects of adequate social participation. As this part shows, the choice of indicators is closely intertwined with political choices. The third part approaches the social minimum from the perspective of legal obligations, addressing the nature of different obligations imposed on individuals and states. The fourth part deals with the question of social minimum in the context of courts, adjudication and justiciability. The role of international treaties and national constitutions – the interpretation of the rights they enshrine and the way these are dealt with by expert committees and courts – is discussed with a view to understanding how the guarantee of a social minimum can be promoted within individual countries. Besides being of interest for academics in fields ranging from legal theory and human rights to the social sciences, the book also serves as an important source for students as well as practitioners interested in the social minimum, and anyone who wants to gain an insight into the current debates on this extremely important issue.

Book Hubris The Troubling Science Economics and Politics of Climate Change

Download or read book Hubris The Troubling Science Economics and Politics of Climate Change written by Michael Hart and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2015-09-29 with total page 616 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The book explores problems and issues that have emerged in national and international discussion of policies to address climate change. It concludes that every solution put forward by the UN and activists poses more problems than might ever emerge from the marginal human impact on natural climate change. Rather than mitigation, governments should focus on adaptation. As is, climate change discussions have become captive of a utopian agenda that is using climate change as a stalking horse to drive alarm in the hope that it will convince governments to act."--

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Teachers empower both the next generation of learners and educators. Communities value the intricate roles and responsibilities of teachers: many of whom who go beyond the tangibles to cater to the learning needs of their students. The multidimensional and multifaceted relationship between teacher-education providers and teachers is a complex one. At one end of the spectrum sits the scholarship of teaching while at the enacted zone sits standards-based praxis. Teacher education and scholarship of teaching provides the avenue to demonstrate this interaction of knowledge, pedagogy, research and broadly, scholarship. Unfortunately, there is no strong consensus about the value of pedagogical preparation for teachers. This monograph highlights the broad focus on how education draws its knowledge base from various disciplines; advancing that education itself can become a plethora for shared discourse and reflection. The chapters provide fresh demonstrated understanding into practice-enabled research directions and emphasise the position of research-based praxis in both schools and in institutions entrusted with teacher education. Importantly, the monograph demonstrates the two-way communication between the community and teacher educators about knowledge, experiences, values and diversity and to add value with the sole aim to enhance learning. It highlights education is a collective endeavour in that education and teacher education are subsets of the community, and deliberations in communities add important synergy to education’s evolution and revolution. Thus, the process of inquiry is fundamental in education, and implies transcending traditional discipline-bound knowledge and processes. This monograph provides the challenge to educators that no single or specific discipline directs educational development and enrichment, nor does the latter exclude any.

Book Daily Life Materiality and Complexity in Early Urban Communities of the Southern Levant

Download or read book Daily Life Materiality and Complexity in Early Urban Communities of the Southern Levant written by Meredith S. Chesson and published by Penn State Press. This book was released on 2011-06-23 with total page 311 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume emerges from a session honoring Walter E. Rast and R. Thomas Schaub held during the 2003 Annual Meeting of the American Schools of Oriental Research in Atlanta, Georgia and includes expanded versions of many of the papers presented in that session. By gathering in Atlanta, and by participating in this volume, the contributors honor the careers and scholarly passions of Walt and Tom, whose work in southern Levantine archaeology began in the 1960s when they were young scholars working with Paul Lapp. The breadth and depth of experience of the contributors’ disciplinary and theoretical interests reflects the shared influence of and esteem for Walt’s and Tom’s own scholarly gifts as archaeologists, mentors, collaborators, and intellectual innovators. The primary disciplinary “homes” for the scholars contributing to this volume encompass a broad range of methods and approaches to learning about the past: anthropological archaeology, Near Eastern archaeology, biblical archaeology, and physical anthropology. Their institutional “homes” include universities and institutes in Canada, Denmark, Israel, Jordan, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States; their theoretical “homes” include the broadly-conceived archaeological frameworks of culture-history, processualism, and post-processualism. Collectively, these papers reflect the enormous breadth of influence that Tom’s and Walt’s scholarly contributions have made to EB studies. Walt and Tom shared a gift that many have benefited from: gentle listening, questioning, and pushing for more sophisticated analyses of Early Bronze Age life. Their eager engagement of younger scholars, as well as their involvement with their peers, arises from their dedication to listening well, devoting time to others’ ideas and perspectives, and a generous willingness to give freely to others out of the rich depths of their lifelong scholarly pursuits and profound understanding of the Early Bronze Age, archaeology, and life in general. Many of the contributors to this volume have gained greater understanding because of Walt’s and Tom’s gift of listening, keen insights, and bottomless enthusiasm for learning more about the past and the present in the southern Levant. The 18 essays presented here are to honor both men for these gifts both to the discipline of archaeology and to so many of us engaged in that intellectual endeavor.

Book Quantum International Relations

Download or read book Quantum International Relations written by James Der Derian and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2022-05-03 with total page 417 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The contributors to this volume are motivated by a common apprehension and a common hope. The apprehension was first voiced by Einstein, who lamented the inability of humanity, at the individual and social level, to keep up with the increased speed of technological change brought about by the quantum revolution. As quantum science and technology fast forward into the 21st century, the social sciences remain stuck in classical, 19th century ways of thinking. Can such a mechanistic model of the mind and society possibly help us manage the fully realized technological potential of the quantum? That's where the hope appears: that perhaps quantum is not just a physical science, but a human science too. In Quantum International Relations, James Der Derian and Alexander Wendt gather rising scholars and leading experts to make the case for quantum approaches to world politics. As a fundamental theory of reality and enabler of new technologies, quantum now touches everything, with the potential to revolutionize how we conduct diplomacy, wage war, and make wealth. Contributors present the core principles of quantum mechanics--entanglement, uncertainty, superposition, and the wave function--as significant catalysts and superior heuristics for an accelerating quantum future. Facing a reality which no longer corresponds to an outdated Newtonian worldview of states as billiard balls, individuals as rational actors or power as objective interest, Der Derian and Wendt issue an urgent call for a new human science of quantum International Relations. At the centenary of the first quantum thought experiment in the 1920s, this book offers a diversity of explorations, speculations and approaches for understanding geopolitics in the 21st century.
