Download or read book Commande directe en couple d une machine asynchrone written by Jamel Belhadj and published by . This book was released on 2001 with total page 195 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Modeling and Control of Static Converters for Hybrid Storage Systems

Download or read book Modeling and Control of Static Converters for Hybrid Storage Systems written by Fekik, Arezki and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2021-09-17 with total page 355 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The energy transition initiated in recent years has enabled the growing integration of renewable production into the energy mix. Microgrids make it possible to maximize the efficiency of energy transmission from source to consumer by bringing the latter together geographically and by reducing losses linked to transport. However, the lack of inertia and the micro-grid support system makes it weak, and energy storage is necessary to ensure its proper functioning. Current storage technologies do not make it possible to provide both a large capacity of energy and power at the same time. Hybrid storage is a solution that combines the advantages of several technologies and reduces their disadvantages. Modeling and Control of Static Converters for Hybrid Storage Systems covers the modeling, control theorems, and optimization techniques that solve many scientific problems for researchers in the field of power converter control for renewable energy hybrid storage and places particular emphasis on the modeling and control of static converters for hybrid storage systems. Covering topics ranging from energy storage to power generation, this book is ideal for automation engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, professionals, scientists, academicians, master's and doctoral students, and researchers in the disciplines of electrical and mechanical engineering.

Download or read book Contribution la commande directe de couple d une machine asynchrone triphas e written by Ammar Benzaioua and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. In this thesis, design and development of direct torque controlled three-phase induction motor drive is presented. The induction machine is fed from a two level inverter. The control of the drive is realized using two direct torque control strategies as given below: The first strategy is based on classical method DTC wherein the control signals for the inverter power devices are obtained using the output data from two hysteresis controllers and stator flux position. The second control strategy is a predictive method PDTC based on the model of the machine wherein the inverter switching signals are obtained by predicting future values of control variables (torque and stator flux) and optimizing their errors via a predefined costfunction. Reconstruction of control variables (current and flux) for controls is assured using a four order Kalman Filter. On the other hand, a disturbance observer with an anti-overflow scheme has also been studied and incorporated in the predictive closed-loop speed control adopted for this study. The second strategy has led to an improvement in the results of the classical method, especially in reducing torque ripple and stator flux. It also showed a significant improvement in dynamic performance, especially in terms of disturbance rejection and robustness over a wide speed range. This work leads to the development of a prototype, with real-time implementation of two controls (CDC and CDCP) variants via RT-LAB platform available in the LICOME laboratory of the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi. The experimental results show good transient and steady state performance and confirm the simulation results obtained using Matlab/Simulink.

Book Control of Synchronous Motors

Download or read book Control of Synchronous Motors written by Jean-Paul Louis and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2013-02-07 with total page 340 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Synchronous motors are indubitably the most effective device to drive industrial production systems and robots with precision and rapidity. Their control law is thus critical for combining at the same time high productivity to reduced energy consummation. As far as possible, the control algorithms must exploit the properties of these actuators. Therefore, this work draws on well adapted models resulting from the Park’s transformation, for both the most traditional machines with sinusoidal field distribution and for machines with non-sinusoidal field distribution which are more and more used in industry. Both, conventional control strategies like vector control (either in the synchronous reference frame or in the rotor frame) and advanced control theories like direct control and predictive control are thoroughly presented. In this context, a significant place is reserved to sensorless control which is an important and critical issue in tomorrow’s motors.
