Book Adaptive Backstepping Control of Uncertain Systems

Download or read book Adaptive Backstepping Control of Uncertain Systems written by Jing Zhou and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2008-02-07 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book employs the powerful and popular adaptive backstepping control technology to design controllers for dynamic uncertain systems with non-smooth nonlinearities. Various cases including systems with time-varying parameters, multi-inputs and multi-outputs, backlash, dead-zone, hysteresis and saturation are considered in design and analysis. For multi-inputs and multi-outputs systems, both centralized and decentralized controls are addressed. This book not only presents recent research results including theoretical success and practical development such as the proof of system stability and the improvement of system tracking and transient performance, but also gives self-contained coverage of fundamentals on the backstepping approach illustrated with simple examples. Detail description of methodologies for the construction of adaptive laws, feedback control laws and associated Lyapunov functions is systematically provided in each case. Approaches used for the analysis of system stability and tracking and transient performances are elaborated. Two case studies are presented to show how the presented theories are applied.

Book Commande adaptative non lin aire

Download or read book Commande adaptative non lin aire written by Fayçal Ikhouane and published by . This book was released on 2001 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Sensorless AC Electric Motor Control

Download or read book Sensorless AC Electric Motor Control written by Alain Glumineau and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-03-16 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph shows the reader how to avoid the burdens of sensor cost, reduced internal physical space, and system complexity in the control of AC motors. Many applications fields—electric vehicles, wind- and wave-energy converters and robotics, among them—will benefit. Sensorless AC Electric Motor Control describes the elimination of physical sensors and their replacement with observers, i.e., software sensors. Robustness is introduced to overcome problems associated with the unavoidable imperfection of knowledge of machine parameters—resistance, inertia, and so on—encountered in real systems. The details of a large number of speed- and/or position-sensorless ideas for different types of permanent-magnet synchronous motors and induction motors are presented along with several novel observer designs for electrical machines. Control strategies are developed using high-order, sliding-mode and quasi-continuous-sliding-mode techniques and two types of observer–controller schemes based on backstepping and sliding-mode techniques are described. Experimental results validate the performance of these observer and controller configurations with test trajectories of significance in difficult sensorless-AC-machine problems. Control engineers working with AC motors in a variety of industrial environments will find the space-and-cost-saving ideas detailed in Sensorless AC Electric Motor Control of much interest. Academic researchers and graduate students from electrical, mechanical and control-engineering backgrounds will be able to see how advanced theoretical control can be applied in meaningful real systems.

This book was released on 2020-06-30 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Adaptive Backstepping Control of Uncertain Systems with Actuator Failures, Subsystem Interactions, and Nonsmooth Nonlinearities presents a series of innovative technologies for designing and analyzing adaptive backstepping control systems involving treatment on actuator failures, subsystem interactions, and nonsmooth nonlinearities. Compared with the existing literature, it provides novel solutions by adopting backstepping design tool to a number of hotspots and challenging problems in the area of adaptive control. Section I introduces three different backstepping based adaptive actuator failure compensation methods for solving the problems of relaxing relative degree condition with respect to redundant inputs, guaranteeing transient performance, and tolerating intermittent failures. Section II presents some advances in decentralized adaptive backstepping control of uncertain interconnected systems. It discusses issues including decentralized adaptive stabilization despite the presence of dynamic interactions depending on subsystem inputs and outputs, decentralized adaptive stabilization with backlashlike hysteresis, decentralized adaptive output tracking, decentralized adaptive output tracking with delay and dead-zone input. Finally, the present their recent result on backstepping based distributed adaptive coordinated control of uncertain multi-agent systems. Each chapter provides discussion remarks highlighting new approaches and contributions to emphasize the novelty of the presented design and analysis methods. There are also simulation results in each chapter, sometimes in a comparative manner, to show the effectiveness of these methods. This book enables readers to establish an overall perspective and understanding of typical adaptive accommodation solutions to different issues. It can be used as a reference book or a textbook on advanced adaptive control theory and applications for students with some background in feedback control systems. Book Commande adaptative floue des syst mes non lin aires incertains

Download or read book Commande adaptative floue des syst mes non lin aires incertains written by Salim Labiod and published by Editions Universitaires Europeennes. This book was released on 2012 with total page 112 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
