Book Coloring Outside The Lines

Download or read book Coloring Outside The Lines written by Shaniqua Davis and published by . This book was released on 2024-01-22 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book starts with poems that I wrote when I was a teenager. I wrote with a lot of negative emotions (sad, anger, confusion) because of the life I had lived at the time and all I knew how to do was put my pen to the paper. There was a good span of maybe 10 years that I didn't write anything, but I did experience life (adulthood, love, motherhood) in a better light; during those years, it felt great to be in control of my life and the things in my life. When I was reminded how it felt to write, my words too were in a better light, I had so many new and exciting things to write about. By the end of the book, I hope you enjoyed and can appreciate or possibly relate to my journey through my words.

Pass or Fail I'm coloring outside all of the lines Refusing to stay within society's confines They always believe that they know best I believe they are much too suppressed They want us all to fit into a tightly sealed packet But I'm kicking up the dust and making racket I'm zigging when zagging was expected and required I'm disapproving when it's supposed to be admired I'm diving into confusion because it needs sorting out When everyone else is whispering, I'm releasing a shout Who set up these stupid rules that we so blindly follow They make no sense and are such a bitter pill to swallow So why do you grab your crayons and join me in my quest To color outside of every line in this world's pass or fail test

An empty gas tank leads him to the only thing still open in town, a bar. There, he meets the beautiful, young Danny Weber. Danny has lived in Sunridge his entire life. He's pleasant, relaxed, and completely fine with just being friends if that's what Rory wants. However, as their friendship grows, so too do Rory's feelings for Danny. Although Rory continues to tell himself that they are only friends, he's more than aware of the looming decision he's going to have to make: commit himself to rekindling his relationship with Gabe, or throw it all away and start over.

Download or read book The Critical Journey written by Janet O. Hagberg and published by Sheffield Publishing. This book was released on with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Critical Journey, at its core, is a description of the spiritual journey: our response to our faith in God with the resulting changes that follow. In this book, authors Janet O. Hagberg and Robert A. Guelich address the following issues: the struggle to find meaning and wholeness the crisis of values and identity at mid-life the quest for self-actualization the healing of early religious experiences questions about the spiritual journey Their goal is to help us understand where we are on our individual faith journeys and also appreciate where others are in theirs. The Critical Journey does not reveal exactly how or when we need to move along in our personal pilgrimages, nor does it offer formulas for spiritual growth. Rather, it describes six phases of the spiritual journey and illustrates how people act and think while in these stages. This is an excellent guide for those who are wrestling with their faith and wondering how others have resolved their "dark nights of the soul." Here is an answer for those who have wondered why everyone doesn't respond in the same manner to the message of the Gospel.
