Download or read book Complete PCB Design Using OrCad Capture and Layout written by Kraig Mitzner and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2011-04-01 with total page 529 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Complete PCB Design Using OrCad Capture and Layout provides instruction on how to use the OrCAD design suite to design and manufacture printed circuit boards. The book is written for both students and practicing engineers who need a quick tutorial on how to use the software and who need in-depth knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of the software package. There are two goals the book aims to reach: The primary goal is to show the reader how to design a PCB using OrCAD Capture and OrCAD Layout. Capture is used to build the schematic diagram of the circuit, and Layout is used to design the circuit board so that it can be manufactured. The secondary goal is to show the reader how to add PSpice simulation capabilities to the design, and how to develop custom schematic parts, footprints and PSpice models. Often times separate designs are produced for documentation, simulation and board fabrication. This book shows how to perform all three functions from the same schematic design. This approach saves time and money and ensures continuity between the design and the manufactured product. - Information is presented in the exact order a circuit and PCB are designed - Straightforward, realistic examples present the how and why the designs work, providing a comprehensive toolset for understanding the OrCAD software - Introduction to the IPC, JEDEC, and IEEE standards relating to PCB design - Full-color interior and extensive illustrations allow readers to learn features of the product in the most realistic manner possible

Download or read book DIY Instruments for Amateur Space written by Sandy Antunes and published by "O'Reilly Media, Inc.". This book was released on 2013 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: La 4e de couverture indique : "Whether your picosatellite is watching the Earth or gazing at the stars, you need to know what you're sensing. This do-it-yourself guide explains what you can measure---and the constraints on those measurements---when you're orbiting the Earth. Learn exactly what physical quantities you can measure, and how to plan your sensor loadout. The perfect follow-up to DIY Satellite Platforms (our primer for designing and building a picosatellite), this book takes you beyond just flying a camera in space and shows you what data you can gather and play with using your own personal satellite. Learn about all the sensors you can select for your mission; get acquainted with key electronic communications protocols; I2C, TTL, SPI, analog, and digital; find out how much more your instruments can "see" when they're above the atmosphere; Understand how to calibrate sensors and how to pick the signal out of the noise; determine the optimal data acquisition rate for your available bandwith; [and] look at off-the-shelf sensor hardware and CPU choices (such as Arduino)"

Download or read book The Negro in Virginia written by and published by Blair. This book was released on 1994 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Slavery is as basic a part of Virginia history as George Washington, who was accompanied at Valley Forge and Yorktown by his slave William Lee, and Thomas Jefferson, who directed his slaves to cut 30 feet off a mountaintop for the site of Monticello. Slavery in the Old Dominion began in 1619, when a Spanish frigate was captured and its cargo of Negroes brought to Jamestown. Virginia Negroes experienced slavery as field laborers, as skilled craftsmen, as house servants. In 1935, the Virginia Writers' Project began collecting data for a history of Negroes in the Old Dominion through the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the Depression. Published in 1940 as "The Negro in Virginia", it was regarded as a "classic of its kind." Modern readers will be surprised at how relevant it remains today. -- From publisher's description.

Gardner in his crystal-clear prose illuminated corners of mathematics, especially recreational mathematics, that most people had no idea existed. His playful spirit and inquisitive nature invite the reader into an exploration of beautiful mathematical ideas along with him. These columns were both a revelation and a gift when he wrote them; no one--before Gardner--had written about mathematics like this. They continue to be a marvel. This volume is a collection of Irving Joshua Matrix columns published in the magazine from 1960-1980. There were several collections of Dr. Matrix, the first in 1967; they were revised as Gardner reconnected with the good doctor over the years. This is the 1985 Prometheus Books edition and contains all the Dr. Matrix columns from the magazine.
