Die Übersicht wurde von Studenten in einem kulturwissenschaftlichen Seminar erstellt, als Computer und Textverarbeitung zum ersten Mal zur Verfügung standen. Auf Quellen wurde wegen des Übersichtscharakters und des Platzmangels weitgehend verzichtet, was bei wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten normalerweise unabdingbar ist.
