Book The Coming New World Order

Download or read book The Coming New World Order written by Thomas J. Mueller and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2015-04-02 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book proposes a step-by-step blueprint for a better world. There is a storm brewing on the horizon. A new world order is coming based on all the trends and global pressures that is facing mankind today. The question is, who's world vision is going to prevail and lead us into the 21st century and beyond? Will it be based on Man's vision and his world-ruling government that has only produced war or God's vision and Christ's world-ruling government that is guaranteed to produce lasting peace? The outcome to this vital question and struggle will either bring on the "Apocalypse" or the prophesied "Millennium." It is our choice and we need to decide soon before we hit a point of no return! Prophecy says the Kingdom of Man is going to face off with the Kingdom of God on the Plains of Megiddo in Northern Israel in the not too distant future for supremacy on earth if we don't heed the warnings and change our ways. Our message, therefore, is simple. Christ is returning shortly as King of Kings to establish a new political order, His world-ruling government of the Kingdom of God on earth. His return can either be a forceful one or a peaceful one. It is our decision. Either way, we need to decide soon and get ready for the Second Coming!

Book The Good of Politics Engaging Culture

Download or read book The Good of Politics Engaging Culture written by James W. Skillen and published by Baker Academic. This book was released on 2014-03-18 with total page 366 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this addition to the acclaimed Engaging Culture series, a highly respected author and Christian thinker offers a principled, biblical perspective on engaging political culture as part of one's calling. James Skillen believes that constructive Christian engagement depends on the belief that those made in the image of God are created not only for family life, agriculture, education, science, industry, and the arts but also for building political communities, justly ordered for the common good. He argues that God made us to be royal stewards of public governance from the outset and that the biblical story of God's creation, judgment, and redemption of all things in Jesus Christ has everything to do with politics and government. In this irenic, nonpartisan treatment of an oft-debated topic, Skillen critically assesses current political realities and helps readers view responsibility in the political arena as a crucial dimension of the Christian faith.

Book Canon Law the Expansion of Europe and World Order

Download or read book Canon Law the Expansion of Europe and World Order written by James Muldoon and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2024-10-28 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The articles in this volume trace the development of the theory that humanity forms a single world community and that there exists a body of law governing the relations among the members of that community. These ideas first appeared in the writings of the medieval canon lawyers and received their fullest development in the writings of early modern Spanish intellectuals. Conflict and contact with ’the infidel’ provided a stimulus for the elaboration of these ideas in the later Middle Ages, but major impetus was given by the English subjugation of Ireland, and by the discovery of the Americas. This body of work paved the way for the modern notions of an international legal order and universal norms of behavior usually associated with the publication of Hugo Grotius’s work in the seventeenth century.
