Download or read book What All True Christians Believe written by R.S. Trifulescu and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-10-20 with total page 230 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The ultimate goal of this work is to advance Christian unity. Christians are free to disagree with other believers about certain matters of faith and practice that ought not to break up their unity or fellowship. But they will stand together on certain key doctrines and beliefs that are nonnegotiable. This book highlights those core Christian teachings that demand assent in order for someone to be called a true follower of Christ. A considerable amount of space is also devoted to the aspects of these central tenets that might include some flexibility of understanding without compromising the integrity of scriptural truth and the Christian tradition. 114

Book excerpt: Smith Wigglesworth was born to a very poor family. At the age of six he had to go to work. As a consequence, he never learned to read well until he was an adult. He became a plumber by trade. As a minister, Wigglesworth was hardly known outside of his hometown until 1907. In 1907, he received the baptism in the Holy Ghost, which changed his life forever. It was then, at the age of 48, that God moved Wigglesworth from a small relatively unknown ministry to conducting powerful meetings throughout the world, stirring the faith of thousands to receive healing and salvation. Wigglesworth would usually conclude a sermon by praying for the sick; regardless of what text he had ministered. Smith Wigglesworth's ministry centred on salvation for the unconverted, healing for the sick, and a call to believers to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. He was filled with God...with love, compassion, and faith. On March 12, 1947, Smith Wigglesworth, in perfect health, closed his eyes and slipped into eternity, at the age of 87.

Book The Holy Spirit of God

Download or read book The Holy Spirit of God written by Donald W. French and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2009-06 with total page 382 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is written in the format that Donald W. French uses of letting the Bible speak for itself. This style of writing is much more unique than it should be in a country where a majority of the population claims to believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is the author's hope that this book will encourage others to study the Bible, not only to better understand the Holy Spirit of God, but to help encourage a manner of humbly reading the Bible in order to come to the understanding that God intended when He inspired the writing of the verses of the Bible. The author firmly believes that this is the only way that there can ever be unity in the religious world, unity, not in diversity, but in actuality.

Book The Christ Spirit

Download or read book The Christ Spirit written by Dale A. Landry and published by Best Destiny. This book was released on 1999-10 with total page 127 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Some believe that Jesus Christ did not exist while others are uncertain about whether he died on the cross. Christians assume that miracles happen, but in present day society people are doubtful of when or if they will appear. For centuries, society has questioned the religious dogma surrounding Jesus Christ, and few answers have come about, leaving many individuals believing they have been misled. Thus, it only is fitting that as society turns a new corner towards the new millennium, many are beginning to question their paths and looking inwardly for spiritual answers. In his book, "The Christ Spirit", writer and channeller Dale Landry allows the soul of what many know as Jesus Christ to speak through him and pass along knowledge and insight to those who are willing to listen. It is a difficult task to wrestle with one's conscience and allow a wonderful soul such as Christ to come through and deliver information. However, in his book Dale Landry provides a greater understanding of the world that lies beyond the human soul in spirit and the soul known as Jesus Christ.

Download or read book Life in the Spirit written by Andrea D Snavely and published by James Clarke & Company. This book was released on 2015-10-29 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What would the church look like if Christians saw their lives as constituted by the Spirit's presence to live like Jesus lived? In a time when being 'led by the Spirit' is defined more by achieving the 'American Dream' than by Jesus' life, answeringthis question rightly seems all the more critical for the church to survive in a culture increasingly hostile to Christianity. Building upon the work of post-Constantinians John Howard Yoder and Stanley Hauerwas and upon the Trinitarian Spirit-Christology of Leopoldo Sanchez, this account of the Christian life provides a framework for seeing one's Christian life as one transformed by the Spirit to live in the resurrection reality of Jesus' sonship with the Father in the Spirit. In the process, one will discover that, for Jesus, being led by the Spirit meant trusting his Father to the point of death on a cross, trusting God to resurrect him even if he did not save him. Should it mean the same for Christians today? If so, this would require the church to reimagine its ministries for the Spirit to work repentance and faith rather than simple agreement. For Christians living in the Spirit, their lives might look very different.

Book excerpt: ""Are You In Christ"" The local church is not what it used to be originally given to us by the Apostolic people in bible days. The original church pattern we see in Acts 2:46 was founded by the Apostles and Prophets, and its time we got back to that. So this book is designed to be giving you the right mind set for God to speak to us like He did with the original pattern. This book was started as an introduction to an idea of a real mature video bible school for the leadership change that is taking place in the body of Christ to-day. International Christian Community-Video Bible School will be given birth from some of the teaching from this book.So its important that we get the support we need to launch this brand new concept of teaching through the participation of the whole body of Christ without a denominational strongholds looking at the guidelines through the biblical Word of God.
