Book Christ s 23 Meat Level Principles of True Christianity

Download or read book Christ s 23 Meat Level Principles of True Christianity written by Joe Zug and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2021-02-28 with total page 280 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you have been listening to your inner-voice, you have probably avoided traditional religion, left it or are currently considering such? If so, then this book was written for you. It explains the Real God’s uncorrupted plan for mankind which is totally positive, totally progressive, purposeful, principles-based, Cosmically comprehensive, completely compassionate and harmoniously integrated with no internal inconsistencies! You will find explanations herein that correlate Earth’s physical phenomenon with Cosmic Spiritual laws (quantum physics). Also revealed are Christ’s higher, “Tree of Life” doctrines that supersede the traditional focus, by Christians, Jews and Muslims, on the lower level doctrines of the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.” The scriptures of those three religions contain the same Garden of Eden story that cites these two metaphorical trees. Jesus Christ intended to switch mankind’s attention to the “Tree of Life” principles. He also attempted to “teach us how to fish” rather than to “give us a fish.” Tradition says he came to “give us salvation” yet that would literally put mankind in the category of “being on the dole” -- something current, inconsistent “Christians” seem to loathe. Spiritual maturity is the result of our personally practicing the higher, “meat” level principles that Jesus Christ taught and modeled. Thereby, we qualify for God’s gracious endowment of Ascension into Heaven.

Book excerpt: Modern-day Christians often bring their own presuppositions and assumptions to the reading of the Bible, not realizing how deeply their understanding of Christ's life and teachings is affected by a 21st-century worldview. In Understanding Jesus, author Joe Amaral delves deep into Jewish history, societal mores, and cultural traditions, closing the gap created by geographical distance and over two thousand years of history. Using a chronological approach to the life of Christ, he guides the reader through significant events such as Jesus' birth, baptism, and crucifixion, pointing out illuminating details that that the Western mind would normally miss. Amaral's premise is that to understand Jesus, we must understand the time and place in which he was born, the background from which he drew his illustrations, and the audience he spoke to. Throughout the book he explores specific terms, places, and events for their significance and shows how they add richness and meaning to the text. Topics include the connection between Jesus and John the Baptist, the annual Feasts and why they are important to modern Christianity, Jewish customs such as foot-washing, clean and unclean foods, paying tribute to political governments, and the significance of various miracles. In Understanding Jesus, Amaral draws back the curtain on a way of life that existed during the reign of the Caesars, and in doing so, reveals truths about the way we live more than two thousand years later, half a world away.

Book The God of Israel and Christian Theology

Download or read book The God of Israel and Christian Theology written by R. Kendall Soulen and published by Fortress Press. This book was released on 1996-01-01 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With acknowledgment that Christian theology contributed to the persecution and genocide of Jews comes a dilemma: how to excise the cancer without killing the patient? Kendall Soulen shows how important Christian assertions-the uniqueness of Jesus, the Christian covenant, the finality of salvation in Christ-have been formulated in destructive, supersessionist ways not only in the classical period (Justin Martyr, Irenaeus) and early modernity (Kant and Schleiermacher) but even contemporary theology (Barth and Rahner). Along with this first full-scale critique of Christian supersessionism, Soulen's own constructive proposal regraps the narrative unity of Christian identity and the canon through an original and important insight into the divine-human covenant, the election of Israel, and the meaning of history.

Book Slave

    Book Details:
  • Author : John F. MacArthur
  • Publisher : Thomas Nelson
  • Release : 2012-11-05
  • ISBN : 140020318X
  • Pages : 241 pages

Download or read book Slave written by John F. MacArthur and published by Thomas Nelson. This book was released on 2012-11-05 with total page 241 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A COVER-UP OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS... Centuries ago, English translators perpetrated a fraud in the New Testament, and it’s been purposely hidden and covered up ever since. Your own Bible is probably included in the cover-up! In this book, which includes a study guide for personal or group use, John MacArthur unveils the essential and clarifying revelation that may be keeping you from a fulfilling—and correct—relationship with God. It’s powerful. It’s controversial. And with new eyes you’ll see the riches of your salvation in a radically new way. What does it mean to be a Christian the way Jesus defined it? MacArthur says it all boils down to one word: SLAVE “We have been bought with a price. We belong to Christ. We are His own possession.” Endorsements: "Dr. John MacArthur is never afraid to tell the truth and in this book he does just that. The Christian's great privilege is to be the slave of Christ. Dr. MacArthur makes it clear that this is one of the Bible's most succinct ways of describing our discipleship. This is a powerful exposition of Scripture, a convincing corrective to shallow Christianity, a masterful work of pastoral encouragement...a devotional classic." - Dr. R. Albert Mohler, President, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary "John MacArthur expertly and lucidly explains that Jesus frees us from bondage into a royal slavery that we might be His possession. Those who would be His children must, paradoxically, be willing to be His slaves." - Dr. R.C. Sproul "Dr. John MacArthur's teaching on 'slavery' resonates in the deepest recesses of my 'inner-man.' As an African-American pastor, I have been there. That is why the thought of someone writing about slavery as being a 'God-send' was the most ludicrous, unconscionable thing that I could have ever imagined...until I read this book. Now I see that becoming a slave is a biblical command, completely redefining the idea of freedom in Christ. I don't want to simply be a 'follower' or even just a 'servant'...but a 'slave'." - The Rev. Dr. Dallas H. Wilson, Jr., Vicar, St. John's Episcopal Chapel, Charleston, SC
