Book excerpt: MANY ARE CALLED, BUT YOU ARE CHOSEN. This book will equip you with prophetic insight and divine strategies that will jump-start you on the path toward destiny. There is a distinction between the called and the chosen, the many and the few. Who are these people? How did they get exclusive access to the favor of God? They are confident and prosperous, generous and joyful. They live in the realm of miracles and the supernatural, as if the very breath of God is on every decision they make in life. One season after the next they are catapulted to new levels in life. All they do is win and trample over challenges, disappointments, and attacks from the enemy, while others still remain at the starting line, awaiting breakthrough. In her book Michelle McClain-Walters shows readers just what this distinction is and how they can live in the fullness of their identity as God’s chosen ones. Built on the words of Christ in John 15:16—“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you”—and Matthew 22:14—“Many are called but few are chosen”—Chosen is a revelation of the spiritual force behind the life of the next-level believer. Choose now and declare, “I am chosen!” and watch as the mysteries of heaven are opened to you. Download or read book Anointed for Business written by Ed Silvoso and published by Baker Books. This book was released on 2009-09-01 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Every Business Is God's Business The notion that labor for profit and worship of God are now, and always have been, worlds apart, is patently false. The Early Church founders were mostly community leaders and highly successful businesspeople. The writing of the Gospels was entrusted to Luke, a medical doctor; Matthew, a retired tax collector; Mark, the manager of a family trust; and John, a food supplier. Lydia was "a dealer in purple cloth." Dorcas was a clothes designer. In this expanded version of the bestselling Anointed for Business, Ed Silvoso focuses on the heart of our cities, which is the marketplace. Yet the perceived wall between commercial pursuit and service to God continues to be a barrier to advancing His kingdom. Silvoso shows Christians how to knock down that wall--and participate in an unparalleled marketplace transformation. Only then can we see God's kingdom invade every corner of our world. Readers will appreciate Silvoso's passionate call to men and women in the workplace to rise to their God-appointed positions. The included study guide will enable the reader to put these revolutionary concepts into action.

Based upon the Gospels, was Jesus sentenced to death for blaspheming? According to the Gospels, was a terrorists a member of Jesus inner circle? If a criminal profile was put together for Jesus, using the Gospels as our source, what would it look like? What would it tell the law enforcement personnel of his day about him? Book The Costly Anointing

Download or read book The Costly Anointing written by Pastor Christine Peebles and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2018-08-21 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Greater love hath no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13)""that is exactly what Jesus done for us. Jesus gave his life to pay the debt that we owed and could not pay, and he paid the debt that he did not owe, which was our debt to sin. Now that is costly. One Sunday while preaching, I heard God say, "Look to your left." I did, and there was some writing on the wall that said, "Your debt to sin has been paid in full: it was written in blood." I stopped, and I screamed. I read to the congregation what was written on the wall. Some tried seeing it, but they couldn't""they had to receive the vision that God had given unto me. The blood of Jesus paying our debt to sin is the costly anointing. Jesus made himself a curse to redeem us from the curse of the law. Jesus bore our sins in his body as he hanged on the cross; he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. The writer of Hebrews said, "For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities." That is costly. After writing my book, I Overcame by the Blood of the Lamb, I heard God say, "You obtained my anointing by the things that I suffered you to go through. I want you to title this book The Costly Anointing." There is nothing that can compensate for the shedding of Jesus's blood.
