Jessica ne comprend pas pourquoi la chienne est toujours là, mais elle est terrifiante. Pas autant que ce qui se passe dans le reste de sa vie, cela dit. Elle en attribue la plupart à son ex-mari, mais est-il réellement aussi terrible ? Avec son fils en bas âge à protéger, elle sait qu’elle ne peut pas commettre la moindre erreur, pour ne pas s’attirer d’ennuis. À mesure que les événements s’intensifient, il ne lui faut pas longtemps pour décider qui est de son côté et… qui ne l’est pas.
