Several bulletins have been published as a result of the survey. However, the statistical data as a whole have not been made available. This report presents these data for the entire year along with a brief topical analysis indicating the principal findings of the study. The report was prepared in the Division ofresearch, Works Progress Administra tion, by F. L. Carmichael and R. Nassimbene, under the super vision of John N. Webb, Coordinator of Urban Research. Special acknowledgment is made of the contribution of John W. Mitchell who collaborated in the preparation of the tabular material.
