Book Medical Astrology for Beginners

Download or read book Medical Astrology for Beginners written by Arun Bansal and published by All India Federation of Astrologers' Societies. This book was released on with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The diseases are the result of our past karmas and indicated by weak and afflicted planets. This can be easily understood by an astrologer. Therefore every book on astrology has discussed the diseases and yogas for these diseases are scattered throughout the astrological literature. Some of these Yogas have been compiled in this book for the intelligent readers with the observations and experiences of author. Author has used the astrology for the purpose of diagnosis as other laboratory tests, MRI and CAT SCAN etc. It gave good results to understand whether the chronic diseases are curable or not. Moreover it has helped to understand the time period of onset of the disease which no other science can explain. Therefore astrology is science of sciences. One must be careful while predicting diseases because so many factors are involved in prediction. Only the yoga for disease is not sufficient. If the yoga is aspected by benefic planets, the results will be nullification of malefic influence. The disease depends on the strength of the disease producing planets. Even if a disease may be indicated from a house from lagna but from Moon and navamsha lagna the same house is strong and lord is fortified, the malefic influence may get cancelled. Therefore while judging one must consider the house, lord of house and karaka of the house, rashish where the lord of house is posited i.e. dispositor, and navamshesh, the lord of house in navamsha chart where the lord of the house is posited, and relationship in navamsha chart between lagna lord and lord of the house into consideration from lagna, Moon, navamsha lagna and nakshatra of the planet in which he is posited. One must take into consideration the nature and qualities of the planets causing the disease; functional benefic or malefic to the lagna house in which they are posited. The benefic planet will certainly cause less harm than the malefic planet. The relationship between the two planets also affects the disease producing capacity. The relationship is also natural and functional. The aspect and conjunction of the planets should also be taken into consideration. The retrograde malefic planet is more powerful in causing diseases than the normal malefic planet. The retrograde benefic planet does not protect the native. When a benefic planet is lord of maraka house and posited in that house, it becomes strong maraka planet. Keeping the above factors into consideration we can predict the timing of onset of diseases with the help of dasha system and Gochar. The most common dasha system employed is Vimshottari dasha system. Still we can divided the timing of diseases into: 1.Yogas present in the horoscope 2. Dasha/bhukti/Paratyantar dasha 3. Transit (Gochar) 4. Horary All these factors have been discussed in this book in detail.

Book Medical Astrology A Rational Approach

Download or read book Medical Astrology A Rational Approach written by J.N. Bhasin and published by Sagar Publications. This book was released on 1970 with total page 217 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It has been endeavoured to introduce a few specialties in this book. Firstly to discuss for the benefit of the student of astrology a maximum number of diseases under astrological laws. Secondly to supply in support of that discussion as many illustrations from actual life as is possible, with a view to make the subject readily understandable. Thirdly we have tried to place the astrological material in a rational & logical manner, so that the question of health and disease can be tackled in an independent way without being too much subservient to the shlokas of the text. We do meet with shlokas dealing with most of the diseases but there are very few books, if at all, which discuss the “how” and “why” of disease. We have attempted to discuss the constituents of diseases and the astrological factors representing them severely in order that the student can extend the application of the method to new diseases.

Book Encyclopaedia of Medical Astrology

Download or read book Encyclopaedia of Medical Astrology written by Howard Leslie Cornell and published by Astrology Classics. This book was released on 2010-10 with total page 978 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "In my years of practice as a physician, I have, by the use of Astrology, been able to very quickly locate the seat of the disease, the cause of the trouble, the time when the patient began to feel uncomfortable, as based on the birth data of the patient, and this without even touching or examining the patient, and my intense desire to get this knowledge and wisdom before students and Healers in a classified form, is the reason for this Encyclopaedia. . . . When once you have discovered the cause of the disease, and understand its philosophy and the relation of the patient to the great Scheme of Nature, the matter of treatment I leave to you, and according to the System and Methods you may be using." (pg. 502) This is not only the best book ever written on medical astrology, it is also the best medieval medical reference ever put in print. This book excels in diagnosis, in other words, if the symptom is X, then the astrological cause is Y. Which becomes the key to reading the patient's chart, or his decumbiture. Cornell writes in traditional language. The same language, in fact, as you will find in Culpeper, Saunders, Lilly, Blagrave and many others. This book is the key that will open these and many more. Howard Leslie Cornell, M.D., (1872-1938) was a naturopathic physician with a practice in the US and India. In 1918 he set about to compile the medical references in his many astrology books. As he himself wrote, it became a momentous task, eventually comprising two large ledgers. These were then arranged, classified, disentangled and wrote into readable form. Only at that point did he consider making a proper book of it, and set about retyping and rearranging yet again. The result of 15 years work was published in 1933. It has been in print, off and on, ever since. It remains the one indispensable medical astrology book. The Encyclopaedia of Medical Astrology repays close study. A page-by-page reading is most rewarding.

Book MEDICAL ASTROLOGY

Download or read book MEDICAL ASTROLOGY written by Dr. Douglas M. Baker and published by Baker eBooks Publishing. This book was released on 2014-11-23 with total page 93 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: MEDICAL ASTROLOGY By Dr. Douglas M. Baker B.A., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P The author, a medical doctor, has used astrology as an additional diagnostic technique for 50 years, and whilst not being as accurate in discovery as the diagnostic capacities of modern medicine it can act as a second opinion and sometimes point out an infrastructure to the complaint as well as a holistic interpretation. The use of esoteric rulers has made the work easier, giving more accurate and specific interpretations because of their ‘one ruler for one sign’ basis. It has also been a joy to note that horoscopes of the famous, where illnesses and causes of death have been well-known, corroborate the esoteric rulers and have fitted into the pattern of my own discoveries and observations. Many examples, conditions, charts and interpretations are given here to demonstrate the merits of this method. The author's own experience of medical conditions in which there is a link between two faculties, like muscle and the forebrain is that one factor may mask another via their interconnections. The immense value of astrology as a diagnostic tool is that where conditions arise from multiple factors, each can be identified separately in the horoscope and investigated further for their inter-connectedness through the relevant aspects. This knowledge was shared at the 1998 world convention of astrologers in Orlando, Florida, USA.
