Drawing on years of fieldwork in the city of Cali, Camilo Sanz explores the deep entanglements between medical, legal, and policy practices that share a common goal of treating and curing cancer but are hindered by bureaucratic procedures, pernicious financial interests, and class politics. Cancer Intersections shows how the interplay of these hurdles dictates the rhythm at which patients access treatment and how even in resource-rich settings, patients suffer because of market imperatives that shape how cancer treatments unfold. Through careful and measured observation, Sanz unveils how a neoliberal universal health care regime delays access to care for those reliant on public assistance, which means that some patients will start expensive treatments only after it is unlikely to change the course of the disease.

The most enjoyable is the Kalisamvat decision chapter. The calculation of which date or which Vikrami Samvat month and in which entry the beginning of Kalinavasamvat should be considered at present has been given in detail. The calculation of the dates on which Nirayan Sankanti was occurring or is occurring during the end of Dwaparayuga and in the present has also been given in detail. The method to bring about the beginning of Kaliyuga on 17/18 February BC is also given in this book. Apart from this, other researches have also been given to confirm the research on Ayanamsha and seasonal change. Nirayan is constant and Syan is variable, hence the angular distance from the zero of Nirayan mesh to the zero middle of Syan mesh is called Ayanamsh. In the upcoming chapters, the calculations of Ayanamsha, seasonal change, solar month, entry, ahargana through Vaar, Dinak, Nirayan and Sayan Surya etc. are being given in detail, but before that it is necessary to briefly understand the method of decimal calculation. The simplest methods have been given in the book, but one should not even try, that is, if someone has a habit of running away from mathematics, he cannot benefit in any way. keep in mind!
