Two leaves have cursive annotations in a contemporary or slightly later hand; humanist leaf has notes at the foot of each page describing attributes of the astrological sign (“hot and dry” Aries) and the agricultural tasks to be done that month (March): a text version of the traditional illustrations of the sign and labor of the month.
