In the twenty-first century, although many historically-determined inessentials have changed, the Church’s structure remains fundamentally the same. This study looks at New Testament ministries (Eph 4:11-12), Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the history of the gift of tongues from the Acts of the Apostles through to the charismatics of our time, to see how these elements contribute to the fast-paced, global phenomenon we call the “pentecostalization” of modern Christianity. Our research shows that much of what appears to be novel in current ecclesial movements is the fruit of charisms that have been poured out from the beginning. The disciples of Christ are still bringing “out of his treasure what is new and old.”

Christian dance theologies are unfolded and the boundary-crossing potential of dance in interreligious and intercultural encounters is explored. Both concepts are set in relation to each other in order to be able to embed any transition in cultural-social-historical contexts. The analyses and interpretations of selected texts from German, French, Polish, Russian and ancient literature, presented in chronological order, show exemplary acts of transgression in different cultures and under changing time circumstances and document aesthetic attempts to revise the existing order and create a new one.

The contributions emphasize the importance of the grassroot level, of local and regional actors or memory entrepreneurs, myths of state origin and national defense demanding unity, and the dynamics of commemorative practices in the last thirty years in relation to pluralist and fragmented processes of nationand state-building. They contribute to new conceptualizations of the political cult of the dead.

With World Youth Day: Religious Interaction at a Catholic Festival, Skjoldli suggests that they can. The change is particularly visible from Skjoldli's new theoretical framework religious interaction, which draws on digital game studies. The framework centers on three key terms—interaction, interface, and immersion. Interaction constitutes the core of the stipulative definition of religion operative in this framework: interaction with culturally postulated superhuman persons. Interface represents the means by which interaction takes place. When interaction becomes emotionally charged, immersion takes place—whether it happens in religious contexts, gaming contexts, or other human activities like watching sports, reading books, playing instruments, listening and/or dancing to music. Religious immersion, Skjoldli suggests, is helpful for understanding—and making intelligible—the emotional charge of human-superhuman relationships, the power and vulnerability of the religious interfaces that enable them, the significance of emotionally charged experiences they afford, and the vexation expressed when interactions are frustrated by distraction, distortion, or destruction. In this book, Skjoldli employs her religious interaction framework in an analysis of how the Catholic festival World Youth Day (WYD) changed the meaning of pilgrimage in Catholicism. WYD emerged from a ritual, historical, and cultural context abundant associations to pilgrimage as the term is conventionally understood by scholars. WYDs are also consistently called pilgrimages, even when the host locations are not officially sanctioned as such. A substantive investment for the Catholic Church centrally, locally, and for the local event organizers, each WYD draws hundreds of thousands to millions of young Catholics from around the world. The pope always participates by giving speeches and leading some of the ceremonies. WYD is persistently referred to as a pilgrimage, and Skjoldli analyzes what pilgrimage has meant, what it means now, and how it changed in the context of WYD.

The study’s main objective is to verify whether, due to the evolution of the concept of the declaration of intent, the emergence of non-individual consumer protection instruments, and technological developments the code regulation of defects in the declaration of will remains useful in the case of contracts concluded by consumers on the Internet. The impact of the development of the Internet environment on the applicability and effectiveness of this traditional private institution is analyzed. Mechanisms that, in practice, displace the regulation of vice of consent are indicated.

Book excerpt: The period of Revolution and Toleration in England was filled with rapid change, political uncertainty, and ecclesiastical volatility. Still recovering from the strife of Civil War and a divisive Restoration, the relationship between the Church of England and Nonconformists remained deeply strained. Although Dissenters were granted the right to gather for worship under Toleration, their legitimacy was regularly challenged. Within this context, a variety of significant controversies arose in which James Owen, a Welsh Presbyterian minister, played a prominent role and was a leading voice for moderate Nonconformity. Along with a group of moderate Nonconformist friends like Edmund Calamy, Philip and Matthew Henry, and Francis Tallents, Owen defended a version of Protestant ecumenism. This was a theological conviction that (1) the unity of the Protestant Church was indispensable and (2) this unity was to be found in agreement on essential doctrines, not in sharing ecclesiastical structures. Owen, along with his associates, defended the Dissenters' separation from the Church of England as biblically sanctioned and at the same time emphasized that such separation was not schismatic. Owen's clear, biblically articulate, and historically informed writing made his contribution to the period of Toleration significant and influential.

The commentary “Expecting for the Mercy” highlights its soteriological and Christological contents. This has been possible by taking a structural approach to the text and showing that its structure is chiastic, with Jude 14–15 at its centre – a description of the eschatological judgment foretold from the beginning of the world. The judgment is seen primarily as a time to show mercy to the faithful. Knowing this, the believers should also show mercy to the straying. Placing Jude 14–15 at the centre of the theological reflection has allowed us to reveal the hermeneutic perspective applied to interpret apocalyptic texts. The narrator interprets this kind of texts from the Christocentric angle, just like all other writings belonging to the Jewish tradition. In addition, he uses typology and the pesher method. The commentary is ecumenical, taking into account both Catholic and Lutheran perspectives.

The findings were generated from qualitative interviews with 13 family firms of which nine are currently and four cases were once co-led by siblings. The research revealed that successfully and sustainably co-leading a family business as siblings can be considered as the king's class of leadership as it includes managing the family layer with at least as much attention as the business layer itself. Besides diversifying in qualifications, competences, personalities and distribution tasks accordingly, processes such as the active and conscious decision-making for the business and at the same time for the co-leadership with other siblings are increasingly important to form a successful sibling team.
