It continued the record of their descendants for a total of seven generations. Volume Two highlighted notable family members in the next eight generations of John and Anne Washington’s descendants. Although structured in a genealogical format for the sake of clarity, this is no bare bones genealogy but a true family history with over 1,200 detailed biographical narratives. He was the father of seven children. His son Peter Peterson (d.1735) died on the Morris River, Salem Co., NJ. He was the father of ten children. A descendant, Thomas Peterson (1756-1825) settled in Jefferson Co., Ohio. He married Anne (Hannah) Gammel abt. 1777. They were parents to eight children. A later descendant, William T. Peterson (1830- 1904) was the son of Thomas Peterson and Mary Custer. He settled in Monroe Co., Indiana and was married two times: (1) Sarah Ellen Rader and (2) Margaret A. Reimer. Thirteen generations of descendants are given. Other family members are located in Texas, Oklahoma and elsewhere.
