The first is that there is a correlation between birth order and learning style with regard to environmental, emotional, sociological and physical elements of learning. The second hypothesis is that first-borns are more multi-modal than other birth order positions, indicating fewer strong preferences with regard to the elements of learning. Results indicated that 1) there is no correlation between birth order and learning style; and 2) there is no correlation between birth order and the number of strong preferences a person has.
