Later on in his career he risers through the police ranks & ends his police career at the Commissioner at New Scotland Yard. ~He retires from the Metropolitan Police Force in 1989; he then becomes a Private Eye. ~In 1998 Professor Sir. John Morris is a Professor at the Cambridge Institute of Criminology. ~In 2000 he becomes a Life Peer sitting in the House of Lords.~All of the stories including this one are fictitious, but are loosely based on unsolved murders.
