Book Seventy Weeks of Literal Days

Download or read book Seventy Weeks of Literal Days written by Carol Marie and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2015-02-06 with total page 287 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For nearly two millennia Jewish and Christian scholars have attempted to grasp the true meaning of the seventy weeks prophecy outlined in the biblical book of Daniel (Dan. 9:24-27). But there is no harmony of the four prophetic verses in any of these interpretations, all of which are based on the notion that a week is equivalent to seven years, making the timeline 490 years. This book takes a novel approach to this prophecy by recognizing the holy city to be rebuilt as the New Jerusalem and counting the weeks as literal calendar days. A plot of the weeks on Hebrew calendars (354 days per year) is attempted by using other prophetic texts as aids, which reveals the calendars of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Download or read book Biblical Eschatology written by Dr. Justin G. Prock and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2021-06-20 with total page 666 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent history, men from a variety of backgrounds have come to the same conclusion: that the Bible is about Israel only. For example: In 1861, John Mason Neale translated an ancient twelfth century Latin hymn and its title was O Come, O Come Emmanuel. Ever since 1861, Christians have sung that hymn at Christmas time, especially at Advent. Do you know what the words really mean that you are singing? In 1878, Edward Hine wrote an article titled, Seven-Eighths of the Bible Misunderstood, wherein he explains that seven-eighths of the Bible is about national salvation, i.e. the national salvation of True Israel; whereas, only one-eighth of the Bible is about personal salvation. Did you know that? In the 1960’s, Pastor Sheldon Emry wrote an article title, An Open Letter to Any Minister Who Teaches the Jews Are Israel, wherein he is of the opinion that the Israel that exists today since 1948 is not the True Israel of the Bible. In 1998, Arnold E. Kennedy wrote a book titled, The Exclusiveness of Israel, wherein he legally proves using the King James Version of the Bible that the Bible in general is only about True Israel. So, here we are in the Twenty-First Century, and the Gospel that is preached today is totally convoluted from that which was preached in the First Century A.D. by Yahshuah and His disciples, i.e. the Gospel of the Kingdom. So, where did the so-called churches and pastors go wrong? By the way, is there really a hierarchy in the Bible? In order to find out what the truth really is, we have to look at the original languages in which the Bible was written and then translated. For example, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, then translated into Greek. The New Testament was written in Hebrew and Greek. Both Testaments were put together and translated into Latin, then German, and finally into English, from which the entire world received their own translation of the Bible. So, what was the original meaning of the words used in the original languages, i.e. the etymology of the words. Once that is determined, then we can go onto the next phase and discuss types in the Bible. From there, what is the Law of First Mention? How should Bible prophecy be Interpreted? Who are the keys to Bible prophecy? Where are we in the Bible prophecy timeline? During these discussions, we will find out who Yahweh chose of all the families of the earth to make His own. The churches teach universalism. The question then becomes, Who was Yahweh’s Law given to? What are the Laws of Yahweh? And then the even bigger question becomes, Who was Yahshuah sent to? All of these questions and more will be answered as you read this book...

Book The Oxford Handbook of the Minor Prophets

Download or read book The Oxford Handbook of the Minor Prophets written by Julia M. O'Brien and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2021-01-29 with total page 640 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Oxford Handbook of the Minor Prophets provides a clear and engaging one-volume guide to the major interpretative questions currently engaging scholars of the twelve Minor Prophets by collecting 40 essays by both established and emerging scholars who explore a wide range of methodological perspectives. Divided into four sections, the first group of essays is devoted to historical studies which consider the manuscript evidence for these books and overview debates about how, when, and by whom they were composed. Essays dealing with literary explorations consider the genres and rhetorical style of the material, key themes, and intertextual connections with other sections of the Jewish and Christian canons. A large section on the history of interpretation traces the ways in which past and present confessional communities, scholars, and artists have understood the Minor Prophets. In the final section, essays on individual books of the twelve Minor Prophets explore the structure, themes, and contested issues of each book.

Book The Biblical Prophets for Today

Download or read book The Biblical Prophets for Today written by Keith Malcolm Hunt and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2011-02-10 with total page 457 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nearly ONE THIRD of the Bible concerns Prophecy. And MOST of that prophecy is for the last 42 months of this age. The book of Revelation is for "the Lord's day" - not a day of the week, but for the prophetic time in the prophets of the Old Testament known as "the day of the Lord." All nations on earth are families grown large and many of them moved, migrated, and settled in the lands where we find them today. Much recorded history down through the ages shows who the modern nations of the world are, where they came from, and who they were in the days of the Old Testament prophets. Much prophecy has a two fold fulfillment i.e. Jeremiah 30:1-9; Isaiah 11. The latter fulfillment is for the very end times - the last 42 months of this age - Luke 21:22 "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things that are written may be fulfilled." With these basic keys we can understand the Bible prophets as they speak to us for our day and beyond into the last 42 months of this age, leading up to the glorious, powerful, mighty return of Christ Jesus to this earth, and the establishing of the Kingdom of God on earth.Nearly ONE THIRD of the Bible concerns Prophecy. And MOST of that prophecy is for the last 42 months of this age. The book of Revelation is for the Lords day - not a day of the week, but for the prophetic time in the prophets of the Old Testament known as the day of the Lord. Book Seventy Weeks Prophecy How the Bible Foretold the Year Jesus As and Muhammad Saw Will Come on Earth

Download or read book Seventy Weeks Prophecy How the Bible Foretold the Year Jesus As and Muhammad Saw Will Come on Earth written by Pedro C. Arceno Jr and published by Partridge Publishing Singapore. This book was released on 2020-09-10 with total page 363 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume One of this book will discuss about the true gospel of Jesus(as) which is about the imminent coming of the Son of Man and the establishment of the universal Kingdom of God on earth. We will emphasize the fact that the entire ministry of Jesus(as) is all about the good news of the imminent fulfillment of the “Son of Man Prophecy” and the “Kingdom of God Prophecy” of Prophet Daniel(as) as written in the Bible. Based on the correct context and interpretation, the Son of Man mentioned by Jesus(as) refers to Prophet Muhammad(saw) and the Kingdom of God refers to Islam. Volume Two will discuss about the fulfillment of the 70 Weeks Prophecy of Prophet Daniel(as). That this prophecy is actually a countdown to know the year Jesus(as) and Muhammad(saw) will come on earth. Jesus(as) is expected to arrive in the 69th Week of the countdown, and Prophet Muhammad(saw) will arrive in the 70th Week of the countdown. Its exact fulfillment in history (such as the year of their birth, the starting year of their ministry and the year their respective messianic mission will be accomplished) is a miracle or sign from Allah swt (Qur’an 20:133) and a clear evidence (Qur’an 61:6) attesting the veracity of the prophethood of both Jesus(as) and Muhammad(saw). This will explain to us why there are Jews who knew what time or year Jesus(as) will arrive on earth; and why there were Jews in Yathrib Arabia who knew what time or year Muhammad(saw) will emerge as Messenger of God.

Luke 21:25a, 28 It is rare that Scripture, science, and history align with each other, yet the last three series of Four Blood Moons have done exactly that. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Here is a fascinating study that contributes much to our understanding of the Gospel tradition and, in addition, provides evidence that biblical theology is still alive and flourishing.Morna Hooker reviews the prophetic actions in the Old Testament and compares these with the way in which prophetic figures behaved in Jesus' day, in particular John the Baptist and the so-called sign prophets. She then turns to Jesus and considers those actions that can be described as prophetic signs or dramas. Hooker discusses the sign of Jonah, Jesus' refusal to perform signs, the miracles and other prophetic actions like the renaming of Simon, Jesus' eating with tax-collectors and sinners, and the prophetic signs associated with Jerusalem, reaching a climax in the Last Supper.A final chapter examines the different ways in which the four evangelists interpreted Jesus' prophetic actions.
