Book excerpt: NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestseller Top #10 Amazon Bestseller #1 Bestseller in Thriller #1 Bestseller in Mystery/Thriller #1 Bestseller in Hard-Boiled Thriller #1 Barnes & Noble Bestseller "I would recommend this book to anyone who likes James Patterson or books like his. I can't wait for the next book to come out." --Sandra Labella, Amazon reviewer Fans of Stephen King, James Patterson and Dean Koontz will love this exciting medical thriller from New York Times bestselling author Aaron Patterson as intrigue and conspiracy drips off each page. N19ETEEN is based on a true story and because of how hard it is to believe I turned it into a fictional short story. I added some back-story that is made up, but the main plot happened to some friends of mine. This is a medical/thriller/drama, and is about a family that is cursed with death, and all because of a rose. If you want something different and a little off the path, give "19" a try. And think twice, the next time you stop and smell the roses. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Known for Hard-Boiled Thrillers like SWEET DREAMS (Book 1 in the WJA Series) and holding the #1 spot in Hard-Boiled Thrillers for over a year and a half, Aaron finished up the series with DREAM ON (Book 2 in the WJA Series) and IN YOUR DREAM (Book 3 in the WJA Series). Book My Heart Can t Even Believe It

Download or read book My Heart Can t Even Believe It written by Amy Silverman and published by . This book was released on 2016-03-01 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All parent stories about raising a child with Down syndrome are special and unique, but in the hands of a good writer, they can have the power to reach, change, and resonate far beyond family and friends. And that is the case with My Heart Can't Even Believe It, by journalist, blogger, and NPR contributor Amy Silverman. Amy bravely looks at her life, before and after her daughter Sophie was born, and reflects on her transformation from "a spoiled, self-centered brat," who used words like retard and switched lines at the Safeway to avoid a bagger with special needs, into the mother of a kid with Down syndrome and all that her new identity entails. She describes her evolution as gradual, one built by processing her fears and facing questions both big and small about Sophie, Down syndrome, and her place in the world. Funny, touching, and honest, this wonderful book looks at a daughter and her power to change minds and fill hearts with love so deep.

Book The Beauty of the Redemption

Download or read book The Beauty of the Redemption written by Bishop Ferdinand Samson Ovbiebo and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2018-10-13 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We should serve God by using our gifts, talents, and other resources to add value to the lives of others to the glory of the Lord. It is very important for us to strive with all our might to offer excellent service to God in whatever capacity and do so with cheerful hearts. Everything we do in the service of God, plus how we do it, decides the level of honor and influence we will enjoy in our destinies. I believe it also determines the level of divine favors we will walk in here on earth. Serving in excellence is our highway to honor and distinction. “If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor” (John 12:26). The main point, however, is that it is not enough just to serve God. Your service must be of a level of excellence. Nothing less will do. Service to God is commendable, but that is not enough. Your service must be honorable. In this way, your gifts and offerings must honor him. “Therefore the LORD, the God of Isreal, declares: ‘I promised that your house and your father’s house would minister before me forever.’ But now the LORD declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained’” (1 Samuel 2:30). If you cut corners in carrying out divine assignments, don’t expect the best from God. Have a big heart for God. “The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods” (2 Chronicles 2:5). If you want to experience the glory of God in your life, go all out in your sacrifices. Be an extremist in your excellence service to him.
