Download or read book Behold the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Is Near written by Sarah A. Jones and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2019-08-29 with total page 366 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be. —Revelation 22:12 KJV Are you prepared for the return of Jesus Christ? People have talked about it, read, wrote, sung, joked, and made movies about it. In March 2006, author Sarah A. Jones heard a voice in her dream say to her, “Let your testimony be: ‘Jesus Christ is Coming!’ The people must be told so that they can be prepared upon His arrival.” Therefore she has written this book about His return; what we can do according to God’s word to be prepared for this inevitable event; and what will happen to those who are not prepared. A MUST READ! I pray that this book will bless you, enlighten, and inspire you to seek God, and draw closer to Him in hope that you will be prepared for Jesus’ arrival. Allow God to speak to your heart as you read with expectation to hear and receive from Him. You will be amazed, and your life will never be the same. We guarantee it! Time is running out. Believe it or not; prepared or not; Jesus Christ is coming! For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth. —Psalm 96:13 NJKV

Book The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Download or read book The Revelation of Jesus Christ written by Stephen Kaung and published by Christian Fellowship Publishers. This book was released on with total page 122 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book of revelation is the last of the sixty-six books of the Bible. As such, it is the concluding word of God and therefore occupies a special position. Whereas a blessing is attached to its reading, a curse is pronounced against anyone adding to its text—thus reflecting how very important is this book of God's word. The content of this present work, which will be two volumes in length, comprises the text of what were two separate series of messages on Revelation spoken by the author in, respectively, the year 2007 and back during the 1950s. After these many years, and inasmuch as we sense the return of the Lord Jesus to be increasingly imminent, we believe that there is a need to make these spoken words available in print in order that many more of God's people may receive the promised blessing. It is our prayer that all who shall read this book will receive God's blessing in their being better prepared for the imminent return to the earth of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ.

Book excerpt: It could be that the entirety of creation, seen and unseen, as well as the whole of the Bible have pivoted upon a moment if time, a single decision, one response. With the weight, the enormity of what lay before Him crashing upon His mind, Jesus Himself in the garden of Gethsemane the night of His betrayal, asked the Father to change the plan. "Take this cup away from Me", He prayed. We don't know how long that desire remained, but the next thing He said was indeed the fulcrum of God's universal reconciliation. He prayed, "Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done". The choice was so challenging for Him that the scriptures say His sweat became bloody. Yet, with His mind thus set, He continued on to the cross.

Book The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Download or read book The Revelation of Jesus Christ written by Alfred J. Chompff Pastor and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2013 with total page 519 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about the Lord Jesus Christ and who He really is. When we read the Bible, we should remember the principle: “The last revelation carries the greater weight.” The final revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ to the last living of His disciples, the apostle John, a short time before the apostle John was also to expire, was a final word to His beloved disciple, containing the most important things for the life of the Christian church. And since the last revelation carries the greater weight, we should embrace these last messages of the Lord with great care and believe these words, even if they would upset well-established doctrines in the churches. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is worthy to be praised, and He is the only one who deserves the attention of this book.

Book A Revelation of Jesus Christ

Download or read book A Revelation of Jesus Christ written by J.B. Smith and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2004-05-10 with total page 385 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the Introduction by Merrill C. Tenney: This commentary is an attempt to make plain the meaning of Revelation. With commendable reserve, Dr. Smith has restricted himself largely to interpretation by other passages of Scripture which are related to Revelation by actual quotation or by striking parallelism. His painstaking studies of vocabulary and of related ideas make the book valuable to the earnest student of the Bible. Dr. Smith is a futurist and a premillenarian, holding that all of the Book of Revelation beginning with the fourth chapter relates to the future period of judgment known as 'the great tribulation,' which will be followed by the personal return of Christ and by the establishment of His kingdom. In this regard he is in a long line of renowned commentators, including Seiss, Gaebelein, Ottman, and others. The distinguishing feature of this commentary is its use of Biblical statistics and comparisons. The uses of important terms in the Revelation are cataloged, and their interpretation is derived from their context. The appendices contain some extensive studies of individual topics, correlating information not easily obtainable elsewhere. Dr. Smith follows a literal interpretation except where avowed symbolism demands a different procedure. He has sought to make his exposition consistent in method and in results. His use of Greek is apt, and shows a careful investigation of the underlying vocabulary of the Greek text. This commentary will probably be the mainstay of premillennial exposition for some years to come.
