Book Rhyming Because I Have To

Download or read book Rhyming Because I Have To written by Samuel Kaufman and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2016-12-12 with total page 61 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rhyming because i have to, is a poetry book by Sam Kaufman. In the book he deals with the future, the present, and the past. As well as his hatred for Jimmy Fallon. The book is a collection of poems set in a mindset that will not be replicated. it is a good collection for people who believe poetry can be simple, as well as intense. The author believes poetry is one of the most unappreciated forms of art in modern day. Most won't give it a chance, and those who do are prone to be writing snobs. AKA most publishing company's. In his book the author tries to create ""working man's poetry."" A form of poetry meant to be put both simply and blunt. A form that is not meant for everyone, but in many ways that's the point. Rhyming because i have to is a great addition to the literary world. that will show future writers that if you want to do something, then do it. life's too short not to.

Book Because You Have To

Download or read book Because You Have To written by Joan Frank and published by University of Notre Dame Pess. This book was released on 2012-09-15 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Part memoir, part handbook, part survey of the contemporary literary scene, Joan Frank’s Because You Have To: A Writing Life is a collection of essays that, taken together, provide a walking tour of the writing life. Frank’s aim is to form a coherent vision, one that may provide some communion about realities of the writer's vocation that have struck her as rarely revealed. Frank offers what she has learned as a writer not only to other writers, but to those to whom good writing matters. Her insights about "thinking on paper" are never dogmatic or pontifical; rather, they are cordial and intellectually welcoming. Original, witty, and practical, Frank ably steers us through the journey of her own life as a writer, as well as through the careers and work of other writers. Her subjects range widely, from the “boot camp” conditioning of marketing work to squaring off with rejection and envy; from sustaining belief in art’s necessity to the baffling subjectivity of literary perception and the magical books that nourish writers. Frank’s personal journey is wonderfully told, so that what in these essays is particular becomes useful and universal.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Bob Turney was raised on a notorious housing estate in South London, England. At age 15 he was consigned to the scrap heap by an education system that labelled him 'educationally subnormal'. Engulfed by a life of crime from an early age, he graduated to the fringes of organized crime and spent over 20 years drifting in and out of prisons and institutions. Today Bob's life is completely different. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he has held many callings including Ward Mission Leader, Stake Sunday School President - and has served in an Elders' Quorum Presidency, as High Priest Group Leader and on the High Council in three Bishoprics. Working within the UK Criminal Justice System and frequently with difficult and damaged people, Bob Turney has gained a unique reputation as someone who has 'crossed over the tracks', triumphed against huge odds and become an inspiration to other people looking to do the same. Building on three earlier books, he now tells of the role that faith has played in his life and how he and his wife Sue enjoy the benefits that flow from their Temple marriage, including five children, two grandchildren - and counting!
