Book excerpt: The Bathtime Spankings Collection features all 3 stories in Leena Darling's Bathtime Spankings series + A BONUS STORY! Includes Cassie Gets Caught, Faith's Little Fib, Macey's Bedtime Mishap, and Jenna's Bathtime Spanking. Cassie Gets Caught: Cassie's body belongs to her husband. Only he may give her pleasure, and if she dares to reach between her thighs without permission, she knows she's in for a severe spanking. She tries to follow his rules. She really does. But one day while she's taking a bath she can't resist touching herself. She won't get caught. She won't. Darren can't believe he came home from work early to find his wife debasing herself in the bath tub. He doesn't have a choice. He has to punish her naughtiness immediately, right there in the tub. She will submit to his discipline, including a hand spanking, an intimate punishment, and a firm dose of the bath brush to her bare, wet soapy bottom. Faith's Little Fib: Faith's being overly grumpy during breakfast with her husband. Not only does she tell a little lie, but she knocks over her chocolate milk while pounding her hand on the table. Uh oh. She knows she's in big trouble now. Bennett has no choice but to discipline his naughty little wife. If it weren't for her fib, he'd just give her a quick but ouchy hand spanking. But telling lies is a big no no, and now Faith has to endure an intimate punishment followed by a shameful spanking while he bathes her thoroughly. Macey's Bedtime Mishap: Macey has been working herself too hard and is extremely stressed out. When she doesn't come to bed on time and her husband, Walker, catches her at her laptop and drinking a triple shot latte just before midnight, he decides not only to punish his wife but to help her relax and finally get a good night's sleep. A thorough bath, a firm spanking, and a bit of pleasure are in order for this naughty young wife. Jenna's Bathtime Spanking: Michael forbids Jenna from dining at one of her favorite restaurants due to a string of muggings in the area. She promises to obey, but one night her friends talk her into having dinner there. She thinks she's gotten away with it, but the restaurant calls to say she left her bank card on the table, and her husband intercepts the phone call. Michael confronts Jenna while she's taking a bath and decides to punish her on the spot. Will Jenna be able to hold still and accept her punishment, even when he applies the bath brush to her wet, soapy bottom? Note: This collection portrays scenes of M/F disciplinary spanking between four separate married couples, each in domestic discipline relationships. The story Faith's Little Fib contains light age play, and the story Jenna's Bathtime Spanking includes themes of Christian Domestic Discipline.
Download or read book Discipline Desired written by Lisa Simons and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2015-04-23 with total page 318 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: You heard it first in 50 SHADESNow read all about the reality in DISCIPLINE DESIRED Discipline Desired is a fictional tale, based upon factual advice, information and experiences from real men and women living the Domestic Discipline lifestyle. In over 90% of the men and women I spoke with, the Taken in Hand, (most often, but not always the female partner) was the person who suggested the idea to their spouse. The TiH would often suggest/request the rules they have in place. Those living the Domestic Discipline lifestyle would not choose to go back to their old way of doing things. In my conversations, the inclusion of Domestic Discipline in all cases improved their marriage/relationship and in many cases saved their marriage. Discipline Desired is both a great read and a introductory guide to Domestic Discipline. ALL CHARACTERS ARE PURE FICTION The content however is mostly fact. . . . . . . . . . As the spanking continued, as her bottom was turning red, all thoughts of the party and all those tasks still left undone melted away as her burning cheeks began to occupy her thoughts . . . . Lisa's marriage is heading for the rocks and there is nothing she can think of to avoid the impending crash of divorce until she discovers Domestic Discipline. Lisa's life and marriage are transformed when she asks her husband to assume the role of the Head of the Household. To hold her accountable to a set of agreed upon rules and to discipline her whenever she breaks them. Is she crazy? A question many, who willingly put themselves in the same position, ask and to a one, answer NO. It works, it really works. Follow Lisa and John as they embark on their journey into Discipline and Punishment and judge for yourself.

Download or read book Parenting Matters written by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and published by National Academies Press. This book was released on 2016-11-21 with total page 525 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Decades of research have demonstrated that the parent-child dyad and the environment of the familyâ€"which includes all primary caregiversâ€"are at the foundation of children's well- being and healthy development. From birth, children are learning and rely on parents and the other caregivers in their lives to protect and care for them. The impact of parents may never be greater than during the earliest years of life, when a child's brain is rapidly developing and when nearly all of her or his experiences are created and shaped by parents and the family environment. Parents help children build and refine their knowledge and skills, charting a trajectory for their health and well-being during childhood and beyond. The experience of parenting also impacts parents themselves. For instance, parenting can enrich and give focus to parents' lives; generate stress or calm; and create any number of emotions, including feelings of happiness, sadness, fulfillment, and anger. Parenting of young children today takes place in the context of significant ongoing developments. These include: a rapidly growing body of science on early childhood, increases in funding for programs and services for families, changing demographics of the U.S. population, and greater diversity of family structure. Additionally, parenting is increasingly being shaped by technology and increased access to information about parenting. Parenting Matters identifies parenting knowledge, attitudes, and practices associated with positive developmental outcomes in children ages 0-8; universal/preventive and targeted strategies used in a variety of settings that have been effective with parents of young children and that support the identified knowledge, attitudes, and practices; and barriers to and facilitators for parents' use of practices that lead to healthy child outcomes as well as their participation in effective programs and services. This report makes recommendations directed at an array of stakeholders, for promoting the wide-scale adoption of effective programs and services for parents and on areas that warrant further research to inform policy and practice. It is meant to serve as a roadmap for the future of parenting policy, research, and practice in the United States.

Book excerpt: Since its beginning in 1965 as a part of the War on Poverty, Head Start's goal has been to boost the school readiness of low-income children. Based on a 'whole child' model, the program provides comprehensive services that include pre-school education; medical, dental, and mental health care; nutrition services; and efforts to help parents foster their child's development. Head Start services are designed to be responsive to each child's and family's ethnic, cultural, and linguistic heritage. The Congressionally-mandated Head Start Impact Study was conducted across 84 nationally representative grantee/delegate agencies. Approximately 5,000 newly entering 3- and 4-year-old children applying for Head Start were randomly assigned to either a Head Start group that had access to Head Start program services or to a non- Head Start group that could enrol in available community non-Head Start services, selected by their parents. Data collection began in fall 2002 and is scheduled to continue through 2006, following children through the spring of their 1st-grade year. The study quantifies the impact of Head Start separately for 3- and 4-year-old children across child cognitive, social-emotional, and health domains as well as ii on parenting practices. This book is essential reading for those in the education field.

Download or read book Cerebral Palsy written by Freeman Miller and published by JHU Press. This book was released on 2006-05-08 with total page 548 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When a child has a health problem, parents want answers. But when a child has cerebral palsy, the answers don't come quickly. A diagnosis of this complex group of chronic conditions affecting movement and coordination is difficult to make and is typically delayed until the child is eighteen months old. Although the condition may be mild or severe, even general predictions about long-term prognosis seldom come before the child's second birthday. Written by a team of experts associated with the Cerebral Palsy Program at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, this authoritative resource provides parents and families with vital information that can help them cope with uncertainty. Thoroughly updated and revised to incorporate the latest medical advances, the second edition is a comprehensive guide to cerebral palsy. The book is organized into three parts. In the first, the authors describe specific patterns of involvement (hemiplegia, diplegia, quadriplegia), explain the medical and psychosocial implications of these conditions, and tell parents how to be effective advocates for their child. In the second part, the authors provide a wealth of practical advice about caregiving from nutrition to mobility. Part three features an extensive alphabetically arranged encyclopedia that defines and describes medical terms and diagnoses, medical and surgical procedures, and orthopedic and other assistive devices. Also included are lists of resources and recommended reading.

Download or read book Home Education written by Charlotte Mason and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2013-02-18 with total page 401 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Home Education consists of six lectures by Charlotte Mason about the raising and educating of young children (up to the age of nine), for parents and teachers. She encourages us to spend a lot of time outdoors, immersed in nature, handling natural objects, and collecting experiences on which to base the rest of their education. She discusses the use of training in good habits such as attention, thinking, imagining, remembering, performing tasks with perfect execution, obedience, and truthfulness, to replace undesirable tendencies in children (and the adults that they grow into). She details how lessons in various school subjects can be done using her approach. She concludes with remarks about the Will, the Conscience, and the Divine Life in the Child. Charlotte Mason was a late nineteenth-century British educator whose ideas were far ahead of her time. She believed that children are born persons worthy of respect, rather than blank slates, and that it was better to feed their growing minds with living literature and vital ideas and knowledge, rather than dry facts and knowledge filtered and pre-digested by the teacher. Her method of education, still used by some private schools and many homeschooling families, is gentle and flexible, especially with younger children, and includes first-hand exposure to great and noble ideas through books in each school subject, conveying wonder and arousing curiosity, and through reflection upon great art, music, and poetry; nature observation as the primary means of early science teaching; use of manipulatives and real-life application to understand mathematical concepts and learning to reason, rather than rote memorization and working endless sums; and an emphasis on character and on cultivating and maintaining good personal habits. Schooling is teacher-directed, not child-led, but school time should be short enough to allow students free time to play and to pursue their own worthy interests such as handicrafts. Traditional Charlotte Mason schooling is firmly based on Christianity, although the method is also used successfully by secular families and families of other religions.
