Robert Mullally was a student for some years in Wendy Hilton's Historical Dance classes. He has published extensively in well-known academic journals on various aspects of the subject and on related topics. His PhD thesis (King's College London, 2007) on a medieval dance, the carole, has since been published by Ashgate.
