No human who feels or has felt pain is completely objective on this subject. We need to follow facts. We need to consider and learn why Russia, who led the world in abandoning corporal punishment is bringing it back, and why there is such a striking difference in the statistics of violent crime between nations who use corporal punishment and those who don't---being much lower in nations using corporal punishment.
