L’étape du collage est primordial, le praticien se trouve souvent confronté au décollement du système d’attache qui compromet le bon déroulement du traitement. Notamment, les particularités histologiques des dents incluses, la persistance de la cuticule de NASMYTH ainsi que le maintien du champ opératoire à l’abri du sang rendent difficile le collage. La mécanique orthodontique doit être étudiée au préalable afin de permettre à la dent de faire éruption sans risque de léser les dents voisines. Enfin, dans une recherche de simplification du système de traction, nous proposons un système simple à réaliser et efficace, qui implique le respect rigoureux du protocole de collage et d’une conception orthodontique réfléchie afin de garantir le succès de la traction de la canine.
