Book excerpt: THE DIALOGUEBETWEEN GOD AND MAN1. Ignorance leads to destruction, on the other hand knowledge is power, it gives life and it is a key to every closed door.2. Precisely prayer is not a one way communication with God where we only speak and do not wait or expect his response to us. It is a dialogue between God and man.3. During prayer, it is an opportune moment to drink of the wisdom of God.4. The truth is we become a reflection of who we spend most of our time with,5. The secret that many people do not comprehend is that a person who spends much of his time in the Presence of God is able to sense the heartbeat of heaven.6. The luxury to drink from the wisdom of God and ability to connect with the heavens in prayer gives birth to a desire to get the job done.Worship 1. There is nothing divine about a dialogue without the sense and element of worship.2. Our worship has to be the condition of the heart whereby we give honour to God from our hearts,3. The secret that most people do not know is when we worship we are humbling ourselves before His Throne and that is when He takes over our burdens and manifest His Presence in our lives.4. Therefore when we worship God, we humble ourselves and give Him the precedence to act according to His will as our Creator.5. If we want to engage in powerful worship we need to spend time reading the Word.6. Seeking the knowledge of Christ through His word, the truth is automatically endorsed in our spirits. The promise1. Initially when God created man He wanted him to be a replica of Himself, a carrier and partaker of his divine nature.2. The Hebrew word for salvation is yeshû‛âh, which by definition conveys the idea of deliverance, welfare, prosperity and victory.3. The beauty of a dialogue with God, in reference to His promises to us brings hope, fosters confidence and a firm persuasion.4. See victory, prosperity, and deliverance instead.5. The remedy for this bedeviling inability is to observe and witness that which the Lord has done is a simple prophetic and apostolic prayer from a believer.6. Hold on to His promises, they will keep you burning with a desire to constantly get into a divine dialogue.WHY SHOULD WE COMMUNE WITH GOD?Fellowship 1. Generally without necessarily being spiritual we are bound to take after the people we spend most of your time with.2. Who you interact with at college will determine your future.3. Gradually we will be changing into His likeness so that the way we walk and talk reflects Jesus in us.4. God created us not to be part of the problems that are already there but to be the solution. 5. The victory you seek lays in the intensity of the fellowship you have with the Lord which builds up trust.Humility1. It is for your own good to subject your spirit continually under the Spirit of God. It takes humility for one to walk in line with the Spirit.2. Constant dialogue with God humbles the natural man and causes him to be a slave to the longings of the Spirit.3. Mankind is the most essential resource that propels and facilitates the work of God on the earth.4. We are destined to succeed, prosperity is our portion, the prosperity of the King is witnessed in his servants, and most of the answers we seek have been boldly encoded in the people we are yet to win to Christ.Self - denial 1. The best way to deal with anything in life is to be truthful to you.2. It is important for us to lose sight of ourselves because many times we are caught up in the battle of who we think we are and what we want.3. Man is lost in his ways, seeking to please his flesh. Caught up in the canal realm, governed by the soul driven by three things which are, the will referring to what I want, the intellect referring, to what I think and the emotions referring to how I feel.4. You need to lose sight of your own interest where it is not about what you want but what God wants for you.

Book excerpt: "Divine Dialogue" is a Bible study of sorts that contains hi-res art reproductions. The book and Kindle version both contain 50 scripture quotations and the stories behind them...and a history of how the quotations have come to be used (and misused) in conversation. What may be unusual for the Kindle version are the 50 illustrations it contains.Even regular church-goers and Bible readers have been surprised by some of the quotations and their origins. For example, "Go the extra mile" might suggest a football team pep talk or a CEO exhorting his staff to be more productive, but it was originally a Biblical concept that meant to encourage believers to humbly extend themselves for others. The "extra mile" term referred to the practice of Roman soldiers, in those days, who under military regulation and Roman law, could induce a Jewish citizen to carry the soldier's gear for up to one mile. The paperback "Divine Dialogue" version contains a dedication page for gift-giving.

Book excerpt: A Journey Through Faith and Doubt: Navigating Modern Skepticism with Ancient Wisdom In a world where skepticism and faith collide, Divine Dialogue: Christian Responses to Modern-Day Skepticism offers a refreshing exploration into the heart of Christianity's most pressing questions and controversies. This compelling book is not just another apologetics manual; it is a deeply engaging journey into understanding, defending, and living out Christian faith amidst the challenges of the 21st century. Embark on a fascinating voyage that begins with laying the groundwork in understanding the nature of skepticism and the importance of apologetics in today's discourse. The introductory chapter sets the stage for a profound exploration of faith and reason, inviting readers to embrace the conversation with an open mind and heart. Dive into the Historical Jesus, separating fact from fiction with an unbiased look at sources beyond the Bible, critically examining claims of mythology and providing a sturdy foundation for the quest for truth. Miracles and Mystery follow, challenging the scientific age's dismissal of the supernatural, and offering philosophical musings alongside robust counterarguments to Hume's critiques. The narrative then shifts to more complex themes such as the Problem of Evil and Suffering, the intersection of Christianity and Other Religions, and the always contentious debate on Creation, Evolution, and Christianity. Each chapter is meticulously crafted, presenting an unbiased view that encourages critical thinking and dialogue. Morality, Ethics, and the undeniable cornerstone of Christian belief, the Resurrection, are examined through the lens of rigorous scholarship and accessible storytelling. The book doesn't shy away from contemporary issues, offering perspectives on biblical ethics in today's society and engaging readers in the nuanced debate of morality's absoluteness. As the journey concludes, Divine Dialogue doesn't leave its readers at the doorstep of knowledge but invites them to continue the conversation in their everyday lives, making apologetics a living, breathing aspect of their faith. The book calls to those eager to deepen their understanding, ready to face doubts with dignity, and willing to engage in respectful, informed discourse. Book excerpt: Is there life after death? Are we living in the last days? Is there a heaven and hell? Does everything happen for a reason? If God is good, why does he allow suffering? Following a profound spiritual experience in 1985 Vassula Ryden commenced a dialogue with God that continues to this day. All of these conversations have been recorded in hand written journals which are now reproduced as a single printed volume. The message that Vassula brings is that God is calling all of humanity to turn our hearts back to Him before a time of justice comes upon us and the world undergoes trials and purifications. Jesus is returning, but it may not be the way we think.
