Book Atoms III Molecules I Atome III Molek le I

Download or read book Atoms III Molecules I Atome III Molek le I written by S. Flügge and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 445 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: dissociation, E, of a dimer into two monomers and that, E', of a trimer into a dimer and a monomer. The observed velocity distribution for a beam of sodium iodide is shown in Fig. 23. The monomer and dimer distributions, which are each of the form of Eq. (9. 2), are separately shown. The sum of the two assumed distributions is seen to agree with the experimental data. The data for lithium bromide are shown in Fig. 24. The separate distributions for the monomer, dimer, and trimer required to fit the data are shown as is the sum of these distributions. An attempt to describe the observed distribution in terms of a monomer and a dimer only is shown by the dotted line, where the relative amounts of these species have been adjusted to give a fit on the low velocity side of the spectrum. Table 2. Summary oj data on the degree of association oj diatomic molecules. The data on the fluorides are from unpublished results of M. EISENSTADT, G. ROTHBERG and P. KUSCH. Download or read book Atoms Molecules and Photons written by Wolfgang Demtröder and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-11-10 with total page 601 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This introduction to Atomic and Molecular Physics explains how our present model of atoms and molecules has been developed during the last two centuries by many experimental discoveries and from the theoretical side by the introduction of quantum physics to the adequate description of micro-particles. It illustrates the wave model of particles by many examples and shows the limits of classical description. The interaction of electromagnetic radiation with atoms and molecules and its potential for spectroscopy is outlined in more detail and in particular lasers as modern spectroscopic tools are discussed more thoroughly. Many examples and problems with solutions should induce the reader to an intense active cooperation.

Book Multiphoton lonization of Atoms

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Multiphoton lonization of Atoms provides a pedagogical review of the whole subfield of multiphoton ionization of atoms. This book discusses the “normal multiphoton ionization of atoms; calculation of resonant multiphoton processes; and angular distribution of photoelectrons and light polarization effects in multiphoton ionization of atoms. The multiphoton ionization involving continuum-continuum transitions; creation of doubly charged strontium ions; and many-electron processes in nonlinear ionization of atoms are also elaborated. Book Applications of Group Theory to Atoms Molecules and Solids

Download or read book Applications of Group Theory to Atoms Molecules and Solids written by Thomas Wolfram and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2014-01-09 with total page 485 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The majority of all knowledge concerning atoms, molecules, and solids has been derived from applications of group theory. Taking a unique, applications-oriented approach, this book gives readers the tools needed to analyze any atomic, molecular, or crystalline solid system. Using a clearly defined, eight-step program, this book helps readers to understand the power of group theory, what information can be obtained from it, and how to obtain it. The book takes in modern topics, such as graphene, carbon nanotubes and isotopic frequencies of molecules, as well as more traditional subjects: the vibrational and electronic states of molecules and solids, crystal field and ligand field theory, transition metal complexes, space groups, time reversal symmetry, and magnetic groups. With over 100 end-of-chapter exercises, this book is invaluable for graduate students and researchers in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering and materials science.

Book Hypotheses 3 Genesis and Evolution of Atoms and space bodies

Download or read book Hypotheses 3 Genesis and Evolution of Atoms and space bodies written by Аркадий Серков and published by Litres. This book was released on 2022-05-17 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Book “Hypotheses-3: Genesis and Evolution of Atoms and Cosmic Bodies”. is the final one in the series “Hypotheses. Serkov AT ". The first book in this series was published in 1998. This book examines the formation of chemical elements, their evolution and decay. The initial product is hydrogen (protons), which is formed by condensation of sub-elementary particles and during nuclear reactions by the mechanism of the formation of «secondary drops» when a «drop» of nuclear liquid hits the surface of the liquid nucleus of an atom (crown splash effect). An increase in the mass of atoms occurs as a result of the orbital capture of atoms of light elements, their subsequent deceleration and fall on the nucleus, as a result of which the frequency of rotation of nuclei increases, leading to periodic disruption of dynamic boundary layers and, accordingly, to a periodic change in the properties of chemical elements. An increase in the speed of rotation of stars with an increase in their mass indicates the occurrence of similar processes in space and the main sequence in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram reflects the process of an increase in the mass of stars due to orbital captures of red and brown dwarfs. Periodic changes in the properties of exoplanetary systems are predicted depending on the mass of stars, in particular, their sizes.
