The reservoir of bacteria are infected lungs When a patient of tuberculosis coughs the bacteria are released in the air in the form of droplet. If these bacteria are inhaled in the form of droplets by some other person, They goes with respiration in the healthy person. They get lodged in the lungs and multiply there and cause damage to lungs. By this process a person becomes a patient of tuberculosis. This is most common procedure or way by which tuberculosis spread from one person to other person by air born channel. They may get lodged in lymph nodes in adults and children. The lymph nodes become enlarged and swollen and painless. Commonly the cervical lymph nodes are infected specially. This is called as cervical lymph node tuberculosis. In adults pulmonary tuberculosis is very common and in children cervical lymph node tuberculosis is very common. The tuberculosis may also involve the intestine, spine, brain, meanings, bones, kidney and lymph node. They are called extra pulmonary tuberculosis.
