Book Before Atlantis

Download or read book Before Atlantis written by Frank Joseph and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2013-03-24 with total page 336 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A comprehensive exploration of Earth’s ancient past, the evolution of humanity, the rise of civilization, and the effects of global catastrophes • Explores biological evidence for the aquatic ape theory and 20-million-year-old evidence of pre-human cultures from which we are not descended • Traces the genesis of modern human civilization to Indonesia and the Central Pacific 75,000 years ago after a near-extinction-level volcanic eruption • Examines the profound similarities of megaliths around the world, including Nabta Playa and Gobekli Tepe, to reveal the transoceanic civilization that built them all Exploring emerging and suppressed evidence from archaeology, anthropology, and biology, Frank Joseph challenges conventional theories of evolution, the age of humanity, the origins of civilization, and the purpose of megaliths around the world. He reveals 20-million-year-old quartzite tools discovered in the remains of extinct fauna in Argentina and other evidence of ancient pre-human cultures from which we are not descended. He traces the genesis of modern human civilization to Indonesia and the Central Pacific 75,000 years ago, launched by a catastrophic volcanic eruption that abruptly reduced humanity from two million to a few thousand individuals worldwide. Further investigating the evolutionary branches of humanity, he explores the mounting biological evidence supporting the aquatic ape theory--that our ancestors spent one or more evolutionary phases in water--and shows how these aquatic phases of humanity fall neatly into place within his revised timeline of ancient history. Examining the profound similarities of megaliths around the world, including Nabta Playa, Gobekli Tepe, Stonehenge, New Hampshire’s Mystery Hill, and the Japanese Oyu circles, the author explains how these precisely placed monuments of quartz were built specifically to produce altered states of consciousness, revealing the spiritual and technological sophistication of their Neolithic builders--a transoceanic civilization fractured by the cataclysmic effects of comets. Tying in his extensive research into Atlantis and Lemuria, Joseph provides a 20-million-year timeline of the rise and fall of ancient civilizations, both human and pre-human, the evolutionary stages of humanity, and the catastrophes and resulting climate changes that triggered them all--events that our relatively young civilization may soon experience.

Book Atlantis The lost city is in Java Sea

Download or read book Atlantis The lost city is in Java Sea written by Dhani Irwanto and published by INDONESIA HYDRO MEDIA. This book was released on 2015-04-18 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After thousands of years, so many of us still search for the answer to the mystery of Atlantis. From time to time, archaeologists and historians locate evidence. There have been many locations proposed for the location of Atlantis. Ever since the first recorded history of Atlantis, written by the Greek philosopher Plato over 2,300 years ago, debate has raged as to whether or not Atlantis ever really existed. The existence of Atlantis is supported by the fact that it is described in great details by Plato. In additions, various conditions, events and goods unknown to Plato are also described in detailed and lengthy words. The recent knowledge of late glacial and postglacial sea level rise and land subsidence that occurred almost precisely at the time described by Plato also becomes strong evidence to the truth of the story. Plato describes the Atlantis from point of views of geography, climate, plain layout, city layout, river and channel hydraulics, produces, social structure, customs, mythology and its destruction in details including their dimensions and orientations. These become the subjects of the author to hypothesize that the lost city of Atlantis is in Java Sea. The works include over 5-year research and analysis of textbooks, papers, internet sites and digital data collected by the author as well as some site observations. These resulted in accurate evidence to the hypothesis that the story fits the location in question. The book discusses the existence of Atlantis in specific details that have never been written by others.

Book excerpt: WE ARE NOT FROM INDIA TO ARAB BECAUSE OF BOTH FROM HERE Question: When and who did the "Indian" missionaries come to the archipelago to go to remote corners of the country ... so that all the original teachings of the archipelago, thousands of sites as well as the "Pre-Islamic" kingdom were called from India ...? Pay attention to: The origins of Religion in India began with the entry of the Aryan / Cakya / Saka Nation which brought enormous changes in the life order of Indian society from 3,102 BC to 1,300 BC That the Aryans were not the first inhabitants of India and the Harappan "Dravidian" civilization existed long before their arrival, This means that the Aryan or Vedic culture was not the sole source of early civilization in India, that the source came from somewhere else. This change occurred because the "Aryan" people integrated their culture with the native Indian nation "Dravida" and then this integration gave birth to 3 Indian religions, the Aryan Nation after it started writing the Vedic scriptures, this holy book is written in 4 parts such as Reg Veda, Sama Veda, Yayur Veda, and Atharwa Veda So ... "Saka" is the name of a nation who came to India and expanded to migrate to Central Asia, Eastern Europe and North Anatolia in the period after the Mahabharata war (3162 BC) around 3100-3000 BC, Europeans called the "Saka. "with" Scythian "this is what is meant by" Aryan ", the ancestors of the Indonesian nation who colored 3/4 of the earth's face as well as the land of India. The literacy of the word Aryā is recorded in the opening sentence of the Kalasan inscription with a sentence..Namo bhagavatyai āryā tārā yai ... "īrī-Nālandā-Mahāvihārīya-Ārya Bhikṣusaḿghasya" ... the text of this sentence is written in Nalanda Bihar india on a stupa named "Sariputra" .... this is clearly the name of Nusantara not India Aryān is the ancestor of the Indonesian archipelago, the former name "Sariputra" was the son of the archipelago, a pioneer figure for the birth of one of the Indian teachings which is now "Label" in Borobudur, he was born from a mother named "Sari" in Svarnabhumi / Svarnadvipa, Nusantara Indonesia before the 5th century BC Hirananda Shastri, In 1921, in the vestibule of the Monastery no. 1 at Nalanda Bihar University India, found artifacts in the form of a copper plate "Donation Balaputradeva, Raja Suvarnadvipa lineage of Syailendra "Nalanda Copper palate", which was found in Vihara I Nalanda in India, Written by King Phala of Syailendra descent named Balaputradewa from Svarnadvipa, ... meaning "Nalanda" in Bihar India founded in 427 AD built by and on the initiative of Sailendra Srivijaya from Sumatra. .. after Fa-Huan 337 - 422 AD to the Archipelago

Book Islands

  • Author : Steven Roger Fischer
  • Publisher : Reaktion Books
  • Release : 2013-02-15
  • ISBN : 1780230532
  • Pages : 338 pages

Download or read book Islands written by Steven Roger Fischer and published by Reaktion Books. This book was released on 2013-02-15 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When Lost’s Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 crashed, the survivors found themselves on a seemingly deserted island. In Defoe’s novel, Robinson Crusoe spends twenty-eight years on a remote tropical island near Trinidad, while in the movie Castaway Tom Hanks survives over four years on a South Pacific island. And Jurassic Park kept its dinosaur population confined to an island off the coast of Central America. Islands often find themselves at the center of imagined worlds, secluded and sometimes mystical locales filled with strange creatures and savage populations. The cannibals, raptors, and smoke monsters that exist on the islands of popular culture aside, the more than one million islands and islets on the planet are indeed small , geological, biological, and cultural laboratories. From Britain to Japan, from the Galapagos to Manhattan, this book roams the planet to provide the first global introduction to these waterlocked landforms. Longtime island dweller Steven Roger Fischer shows that, since time began, islands have been one of the primary birthplaces for plants, animals, and proto-humans. These eyots of stone and sand—whether in ocean, lake, or river—fostered the human race, and Fischer recounts how humanity then exploited these remarkable habitats as stepping stones to global dominion. He explores island economics, warfare, and politics, and he examines the role they have played in literature, art and psychology. At the same time, he sparks our imagination with visions of islands—from Atlantis to Tahiti, Treasure Island to Hawaii. Ultimately, he reveals, these isolated mini-worlds are a measure of humankind itself. An engaging account of the islets that have enriched, lured, terrified, and inspired us, Islands shines new light on these cradles of earth—and human—history.

Download or read book Eden in the East written by Stephen Oppenheimer and published by Orion Publishing Company. This book was released on 1998 with total page 560 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book completetly changes the established and conventional view of prehistory by relocating the Lost Eden—the world's first civilisation—to Southeast Asia. At the end of the Ice Age, Southeast Asia formed a continent twice the size of India, which included Indochina, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Borneo. In Eden in the East, Stephen Oppenheimer puts forward the astonishing argument that here in southeast Asia—rather than in Mesopotamia where it is usually placed—was the lost civilization that fertilized the Great cultures of the Middle East 6,000 years ago. He produces evidence from ethnography, archaeology, oceanography, creation stories, myths, linguistics, and DNA analysis to argue that this founding civilization was destroyed by a catastrophic flood, caused by a rapid rise in the sea level at the end of the last ice age.

Book The Empires of Atlantis

Download or read book The Empires of Atlantis written by Marco M. Vigato and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2021-12-21 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: • Traces the course of Atlantean civilization through its three empires, as well as the colonies and outposts formed by its survivors in Egypt, Göbekli Tepe, India, Mesopotamia, the Mediterranean, and North and South America • Shows how pyramids and other megalithic monuments testify to the survival of a “Sacred Science” of Atlantean origin and how this Sacred Science provided the foundation for esoteric traditions and secret societies throughout the ages • Draws on more than 500 ancient and modern sources and the author’s own personal exploration of hundreds of archaeological sites Exploring more than 100,000 years of Earth’s history, Marco Vigato combines recent discoveries in the the fields of archaeology, geology, anthropology, and genetics with the mystery teachings of antiquity to investigate the true origins of civilization. Establishing the historical and geological reality of Atlantis stretching all the way back to 432,000 BCE, he traces the course of Atlantean civilization through its three empires, revealing how civilization rose and fell several times over this lengthy span of time. The author shows that Atlantis did not vanish “in one terrible day and night” but survived in a variety of different forms well into the historical era. He reveals how the the first Atlantean civilization lasted from 432,000 to 35,335 BCE, the second one from 21,142 to 10,961 BCE, and the third Atlantis civilization--the one celebrated by Plato--collapsed in 9600 BCE, after the Younger Dryas cataclysm. The author examines the role of Atlantean survivors in restarting civilization in different parts of the world, from Göbekli Tepe and Egypt to India, Mesopotamia, and the Americas. He personally documents their colonies and outposts around the globe, offering unique views of the colossal network of pyramids, earthen mounds, and other megalithic monuments they le behind. He shows how these monuments testify to the survival of a sacred science of Atlantean origin, and he documents the survival of the primeval Atlantean tradition through various secret societies into the modern era. Drawing on more than 500 ancient and modern sources and sharing never-before-seen photographs from his own personal exploration of hundreds of archaeological sites around the world, Vigato shows not only that Atlantis was real but that the whole world is now being called to become a New Atlantis and awaken into a new golden age.

Book Proceedings of the 1st International Seminar on Sharia Law and Muslim Society ISSLAMS 2022

Download or read book Proceedings of the 1st International Seminar on Sharia Law and Muslim Society ISSLAMS 2022 written by Putu Widhi Iswari and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-02-10 with total page 339 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an open access book. Wael B. Hallaq, a renowned sharia scholar, has called sharia an ‘episteme’ that suffered a ‘structural death’ following the dawn of modernity in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries (Hallaq 2009, 15–16). Yet, its resurgent is remarkable across a number of jurisdictional fault-lines: from Muslim-majority nations in Middle East and Southeast Asia to Muslim-minority societies in Western Europe and North America. Across these jurisdictions, the relationship between sharia and state law is central. It includes sharia-state encounters, notably in the form of (state) Islamic law, in the field of family law, which is often asserted as the ‘core’ or ‘last stronghold’ of sharia (Moors 2003, 2; Coulson 1969, 115–6), and other substantive areas of law, such as Islamic economics and Islamic philanthropy and also jinayah (Islamic penal law). Regardless of their differences in their own specific context, these areas somehow manage to secure an importance place in the modern days. It involves different loci of authority to interpret, legislate, and enforce sharia, or parts of it that not only flourish but also being challenged around the Muslim world. Equally important are implications of the increasingly unsettled authority of apparently agreed-upon substance of sharia. To contribute on these issues, we would like to invite scholars from diverse discipline including law, anthropology, and Islamic studies, working in both Muslim-majority and Muslim-minority contexts, to present their works in our International Seminar on Sharia, Law, and Muslim Society (ISSLaMS).
