Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "It's all right, goodnight." This sentence created a resonant echo that history will not forget, as no one believed that it would be the night of the dawn of a new era. In this document, you will be told many sentences about a story that history has heard about, but it doesn't know and did not understand. Between the lines of this story there is an accident and a thousand of sayings . All beliefs were lost in its creed, and the enlightened walked with it in the dark. The standards of this story stand on the other side of the dimension in which history stands. As if standing behind a door overlooked by the history. I am writing to you what I could write about the dimensions of this mysterious story, and if you wonder in your depths about the extent of my knowledge of a story that stands outside history? I will tell you that history itself has not crossed my knowledge of it, and I do not really know if it's might pursue it to prove its pride, but I stand in a legion of small numbers of people who pursue this mystery that appeared in the pages of our history for a while and then disappeared. We've followed the story next to history to make sure that it would not deceives us when it fails to discover it. We chased it with money, pens, and books, and also with time, and because time was not something to be trusted, it made our pens, our money, and ourselves weary, our light disappeared in the midst of its darkness, so our numbers diminished and we fell in front of it like autumn leaves, and the other part of us remained clinging with the dry branches of history. A part of me, tells me that it is a story that history fabricated from its own side, and that it did not fabricate it just for the sake of joking. Rather, it was tired of itself and decided to start a new era, " dawn of a new world era " . I was able to noticed something from this tale, that humans are weak in front of everything that is strange and new, and their fear pushes them to do things they think will lead them to a safe haven.. I really liked this instinct.. but soon, they will return to their weakness, but I am sure that they will do what they can At least to show the truth, then they will feel safe, even though they are in the middle of the fire. They are humans! . When my search for truth ends, and when I fall like an autumn leaf in the middle of the old path like the rest of the legion..don't blame me for my helplessness..I will return to you..and settle down with you in the midst of the fire.

Book excerpt: THE BOOK BEHIND THE FOURTH SEASON OF THE ACCLAIMED HBO SERIES GAME OF THRONES Few books have captivated the imagination and won the devotion and praise of readers and critics everywhere as has George R. R. Martin’s monumental epic cycle of high fantasy that began with A Game of Thrones. Now, in A Feast for Crows, Martin delivers the long-awaited fourth book of his landmark series, as a kingdom torn asunder finds itself at last on the brink of peace . . . only to be launched on an even more terrifying course of destruction. A Feast for Crows It seems too good to be true. After centuries of bitter strife and fatal treachery, the seven powers dividing the land have decimated one another into an uneasy truce. Or so it appears. . . . With the death of the monstrous King Joffrey, Cersei is ruling as regent in King’s Landing. Robb Stark’s demise has broken the back of the Northern rebels, and his siblings are scattered throughout the kingdom like seeds on barren soil. Few legitimate claims to the once desperately sought Iron Throne still exist—or they are held in hands too weak or too distant to wield them effectively. The war, which raged out of control for so long, has burned itself out. But as in the aftermath of any climactic struggle, it is not long before the survivors, outlaws, renegades, and carrion eaters start to gather, picking over the bones of the dead and fighting for the spoils of the soon-to-be dead. Now in the Seven Kingdoms, as the human crows assemble over a banquet of ashes, daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed, while surprising faces—some familiar, others only just appearing—are seen emerging from an ominous twilight of past struggles and chaos to take up the challenges ahead. It is a time when the wise and the ambitious, the deceitful and the strong will acquire the skills, the power, and the magic to survive the stark and terrible times that lie before them. It is a time for nobles and commoners, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and sages to come together and stake their fortunes . . . and their lives. For at a feast for crows, many are the guests—but only a few are the survivors.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The decisive victories in the fight for racial equality in America were not easily won, much less inevitable; they were achieved through carefully conceived strategy and the work of tireless individuals dedicated to this most urgent struggle. In We Face the Dawn, Margaret Edds tells the gripping story of how the South's most significant grassroots legal team challenged the barriers of racial segregation in mid-century America. Virginians Oliver Hill and Spottswood Robinson initiated and argued one of the five cases that combined into the landmark Brown v. Board of Education, but their influence extends far beyond that momentous ruling. They were part of a small brotherhood, headed by social-justice pioneer Thurgood Marshall and united largely through the Howard Law School, who conceived and executed the NAACP’s assault on racial segregation in education, transportation, housing, and voting. Hill and Robinson’s work served as a model for southern states and an essential underpinning for Brown. When the Virginia General Assembly retaliated with laws designed to disbar the two lawyers and discredit the NAACP, they defiantly carried the fight to the United States Supreme Court and won. At a time when numerous schools have resegregated and the prospects of many minority children appear bleak, Hill and Robinson’s remarkably effective campaign against various forms of racial segregation can inspire a new generation to embrace educational opportunity as the birthright of every American child.

The girls spent countless afternoons together, ice skating in the nearby Lake Meadows apartment complex, swimming in the pool at the Ida B. Wells housing project, and daydreaming of their futures: Dawn a writer, Debra a doctor, Kim a teacher. Then they came to a precipice, a fraught rite of passage for all girls when the dangers and the harsh realities of the world burst the innocent bubble of childhood, when the choices they made could--and would--have devastating consequences. There was a razor thin margin of error--especially for brown girls"
