I created an avatar teaching assistant in a blended-animated flipped classroom environment that would incorporate the technology that the students held dear (cell phones used in their research process) and allowed them to keep a constant show of student engagement inside and outside of the classroom. An animated flipped classroom would be created to allow implementation of an avatar teaching assistant to help the teachers before, during, and after class: "talk" with students; give learning activities that would allow students to "tinker" on concepts taught that day; seek and share information through "traveling" virtually and/or physically to where more information could be found.This Three T's concept, created by Ulysses Weldon in his article, "Teach the Three T's," from Gifted Children Newsletter, December 1985, p. 15, would allow teachers to help educational institutions place more emphasis on helping students develop critical thinking, complex problem-solving, written and oral communication, applied knowledge in real-world settings, and collaboration.
