La ejecución de los contratos públicos es una fase clave en el proceso de contratación pues con ella se logra la satisfacción de las necesidades que justificó la existencia del contrato, y, sin embargo, la experiencia nos dice, que no existe la cultura del control de la ejecución del contrato, o al menos no en la medida necesaria. -- Una ejecución incorrecta, una verificación y control parcial o deficiente pone en cuestión principios y objetivos como el gasto eficiente, la transparencia, la integridad, la igualdad de trato y la buena administración, entre otros.En la presente obra, se aborda la ejecución del contrato y su control, analizando la ley 9/2017, de 8 de noviembre, de contratos del sector público y resto de normativa, los sistemas de control actuales y las oportunidades que ofrecen las innovaciones tecnológicas o la inclusión de profesionales y metodologías relativas a la Auditoría privada económica, de gestión o de proyect management en el control de la ejecución.
