Blanche’s cousin, Neil Williams, now a decorated Major, returns from the colonies to rejoin the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers. Her husband, as Neil’s superior officer, makes Neil’s life intolerable, as well as her own. Blanche learns that the truly courageous are defined by their actions and that Seymour is not one of them, for what he does to Neil defies imagination… This book is the tenth book in the Scandalous Scions series, bringing together the members of three great families, to love and play under the gaze of the Victorian era’s moralistic, straight-laced society. This story is part of the Scandalous Scions series: 0.5 Rose of Ebony 1.0 Soul of Sin 2.0 Valor of Love 3.0 Marriage of Lies 4.0 Mask of Nobility 5.0 Law of Attraction 6.0 Veil of Honor 7.0 Season of Denial 8.0 Rules of Engagement 9.0 Degree of Solitude 10.0 Ashes of Pride 11.0 Risk of Ruin 12.0 Year of Folly 13.0 Queen of Hearts A Sexy Historical Romance ___ Praise for Ashes of Pride: You must get this amazing book and if you haven't read the series, well I just don't know what you're waiting for. So realistic that I felt like I was there. Such a great story and setting. Another magnificent addition to this series. Tracy Cooper Posey never lets her fans down. Sch an amazing read. Once I started reading I could not stop till I was finished. This was one of the greatest books yet, as far as this grand family goes. I was surprised how much this book actually moved me & read it again, as for loving the whole family & gatherings as I do. I really enjoyed & got totally immersed in this one. Oh Tracy what a brilliant read yet again, but for some reason this book got to me. Thank you. This isn't a light and frothy book. None of her books are - they always teach you something and make you think about something in a new light. And that's why I keep reading them - there's always something I didn't expect. Yet another marvelous book by TCP! She has yet to disappoint me. Pride can get you into a lot of trouble. I really liked this book ... Tracy Cooper-Posey once again manages to create an historical romance with substance. I absolutely recommend Ashes of Pride and all of Tracy Cooper-Posey’s books. I love this series and could not wait for this next book and my wait was rewarded. I loved this book I really enjoyed the heck out of this book. The characters are wonderful and interesting. I almost feel as if they're out there waiting for us to meet As usual I found myself totally engrossed in this novel as I was reading it. Tracy's books have this effect upon me. Cooper-Posey has such an engaging way of storytelling, that you feel you are actually sitting in the same room, watching the events unfold The best so far in the continuing saga of the Great Family. Wow! This one had me from the start! I never expected their story to move me so much! An angst filled story that had me crying and cheering and blubbering...almost all at once! This is an amazing story that kept me turning the pages and missing some sleep. I had to find out how the story was going to work out. An awesome, emotion tugging, marvelous book. Tracy Cooper-Posey has written another great one. One of many reasons why I like to read Tracy’s stories, it’s never predictable. A smoldering romance and this is another must-read in the series.

When she meets the dark and dangerous fairy Sidhean, she believes that her wish may be granted. The day that Ash meets Kaisa, the King's Huntress, her heart begins to change. Instead of chasing fairies, Ash learns to hunt with Kaisa. Their friendship, as delicate as a new bloom, reawakens Ash's capacity for love -- and her desire to live. But Sidhean has already claimed Ash for his own, and she must make a choice between fairy tale dreams and true love. Entrancing and empowering, Ash beautifully unfolds the connections between life and love, and solitude and death, where transformation can come from even the deepest grief.

Loup Garron was born and raised in Santa Olivia, an isolated, disenfranchised town next to a US military base inside a DMZ buffer zone between Texas and Mexico. A fugitive "Wolf-Man" who had a love affair with a local woman, Loup's father was one of a group of men genetically-manipulated and used by the US government as a weapon. The "Wolf-Men" were engineered to have superhuman strength, speed, sensory capability, stamina, and a total lack of fear, and Loup, named for and sharing her father's wolf-like qualities, is marked as an outsider. After her mother dies, Loup goes to live among the misfit orphans at the parish church, where they seethe from the injustices visited upon the locals by the soldiers. Eventually, the orphans find an outlet for their frustrations: They form a vigilante group to support Loup Garron who, costumed as their patron saint, Santa Olivia, uses her special abilities to avenge the town. Aware that she could lose her freedom, and possibly her life, Loup is determined to fight to redress the wrongs her community has suffered. And like the reincarnation of their patron saint, she will bring hope to all of Santa Olivia.
