Book Compounds of Arsenic Antimony and Bismuth

Download or read book Compounds of Arsenic Antimony and Bismuth written by Michael Dub and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-11 with total page 944 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this compilation has been to provide a comprehensive, non-criti cal source of information concerning organometallic compounds. The scope is limited to the compounds containing at least one carbon-metal bond. The in formation includes methods of preparation, properties, chemical reactions, and applications. The First Edition comprised the literature from 1937 to 1958. The Second Edition is completely revised and extended through 1964. The literature prior to 1937 was thoroughly covered by E. Krause and A. von Grosse in I~ie Chemie der meta11-organischen Verbindungen, " Verlag von Gebrueder Borntraeger, Berlin, 1937. Our work consists of three volumes. Volume I contains derivatives of the transition metals of Groups III through VIII of the Periodic Table. Volume II contains derivatives of germanium, tin, and lead. Volume III contains derivatives of arsenic, antimony, and bismuth. The compilation is based on searches through Chemical Abstracts. The col lection of references for 1964 was completed before the Subject Indexes to Volumes 60 and 61 of the Abstracts were available; thus some omissions in the coverage of that year are possible. We have attempted to make the coverage of the literature complete in order that the compilation may have best utility to the chemist, chemical engineer, patent attorney, and editor. In the interest of brevity, certain numerical data are omitted, but references to the original literature are given. Yield data are rounded to two significant figures. Wherever possible, tables have been used. The entries in the Bibliography section include references to Chemical Abstracts.

Book Arsine

    Book Details:
  • Author : S. Czerczak
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2002
  • ISBN :
  • Pages : 44 pages

Download or read book Arsine written by S. Czerczak and published by . This book was released on 2002 with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book evaluates the effects of arsine to human health. The information presented focuses on effects associated with short-term exposure to arsine. Arsine is a colorless, non-irritating gas, with a mild garlic-like odor. Arsine is extensively used in the semiconductor. The acute toxicity of arsine in different species, including humans, is high. The target organ of arsine poisoning is the haematopoietic system, in particular the erythrocytes.

Book Comprehensive Organic Functional Group Transformations

Download or read book Comprehensive Organic Functional Group Transformations written by Alan R. Katritzky and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2003-03-21 with total page 1470 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This Volume, which is in three parts, includes some of the most important functional groups of organic chemistry. Part I deals with the synthesis of carboxylic acids and their derivatives (acid halides, esters, amides etc.) together with their imino-, thio-, seleno and telluro analogues. Part II covers cumulenes such as isocyanates, isothiocyanates, carbodiimides and related compounds, whilst Part III deals with triply bonded functional groups.

Book Trace Metal Analysis and Speciation

Download or read book Trace Metal Analysis and Speciation written by I.S. Krull and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 1991-10-08 with total page 319 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this volume is to describe the most recent advances in areas of analytical chemistry that relate to the trace determination of metals and inorganics, as well as their distribution and forms (species) present, sample dependent. Analytical approaches are described that encompass a number of separation methods, such as gas and high performance liquid chromatography, interfaced with selective and sensitive detection methods that become unique for metal species/forms present in various samples. Hyphenated techniques are emphasized, such as interfacing HPLC with plasma induced emission spectroscopy, electrochemistry, post-column reaction chemistry, etc. Each chapter describes the latest instrumental and methodology advances that utilize some form of chromatography together with element-specific detection or mass spectrometry to provide absolute identification of the specific species of a metal present in various samples. The book will be of value to those concerned with the determination of trace levels of individual metal species present or suspected present in any given sample and to those involved in trace metal toxicology, metabolism of metal-containing drugs or chemicals, environmental exposures to metals and chemical speciation of real world samples. Government regulatory laboratories striving to detect and determine absolute levels of a metal species in any regulated sample will be interested in this volume, as will academic institutes involved in environmental toxicology, environmental chemistry, metal-DNA/protein interactions and researchers working with metal species.

Book Ammonia Amines Phosphine Arsine Stibine Silane Germane and Stannane in Organic Solvents

Download or read book Ammonia Amines Phosphine Arsine Stibine Silane Germane and Stannane in Organic Solvents written by C. L. Young and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume presents a comprehensive collection and critical evaluation of solubility data published prior to June 1983 for the compounds of the title. A variety of techniques were used in the original determinations; the merits of these have been considered in the evaluation of the data. Emerging patterns of solubility behaviour for comparable systems are indicated. The editors believe that the book will both draw attention to areas where good data are lacking and stimulate further experimental work.

Book Chemistry of Arsenic Antimony and Bismuth

Download or read book Chemistry of Arsenic Antimony and Bismuth written by N.C. Norman and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 1997-12-31 with total page 508 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a detailed, wide ranging and up-to-date review of all aspects of the chemistry of the elements arsenic, antimony and bismuth. The chapters are written by an international team of authors each of whom is both active and expert in their particular field. The coverage includes chapters on general properties and periodicity, the elements themselves, inorganic derivatives of the elements, co-ordination and solution chemistry, organocompounds, organotransition metal compounds, environmental and medicinal aspects and analytical methods. This volume will be of particular value to graduate and postgraduate chemists and materials scientists in both industry and academia who are concerned with any aspect of the chemistry of these three elements and will also be an essential addition to the reference section of any chemistry library.
