This report summarizes the findings of these workshops. It describes the environment of the Northwest Territories and Yukon; mineral development in the North and the potential impact from exploration, mine site development and operation, and closure and reclamation; and research needs and prospective studies on water resources, hydrological and physical processes, and biological and ecosystem processes.
